Maya parks the car inside the barrier. I fall out onto the ground, heaving. Maya laughs manically and jumps out, her hair smoldering slightly from excitement. I look around for my brother and see him talking to Chiron and Annabeth. I poke Maya's foot, motioning to them. She nods, helping me up and walking with me, side by side.

"Hai Chiron, Annabeth, and Percy!!!!" Maya says cheerfully when we reach them. Percy looks at me, grinning."Hey! How's my baby sister?" he asks. My face goes pink."S-shut up." I grumble annoyed."How was your mission?" Chiron asks. Maya's smile fades slightly."We were successful in our mission. However, we were seen. I don't think they were mortals and I don't recognize any of them from either camp." Maya says. Chiron nods.

We are about to go to our usual areas, when Chiron spoke.

"We have a new demigod." he speaks gravely."OOH!! Who's the parent!?!? Is it a boy of a girl!?!? Can I- mph!" Maya starts. I looked over to see Leo covering her mouth. Chiron continues,"This is Natalie, she is a daughter of Ares, and yes, Maya, you can show her around." he says. Maya judo flips Leo and whooped."Also, we now have a curfew." Maya and I look at each other, surprised."Why!?!?" Maya shrieks."There has been a long string of murders in our area and until they are apprehended by the authorities, we will have a curfew." Maya looks wide eyed at Chiron."They won't be able to get in will they, I mean...They're mortal.... right?" I ask, slightly scared. Chiron looks at the two of us gravely."As far as we know." he answers.

Maya and I leave the pavilion, Maya to get the new girl and show her around, me to tag along. What we didn't know, was that we were being watched. Those same guys from the mall, along with a tall, faceless man were watching from the woods.
