You had been living as a 'Sister of Mercy' for 2 years, roughly. You made it there with your brother, but your abusive Father was not far behind. When the first Zombie walked the earth, your Father had been in jail for a night, convicted of; Domestic Violence.
So when he made it to those gates just after you and your little brother, Helen made sure he would not live to terrorize you again. She banished him to the barn, which originally had a Zombie Wolf within it, but your Father took care of that. He made it out alive and managed to kill 3 female survivors before you shot him in the chest. His Zombie version was then put inside the barn with the new Zombie Bear, and never seen by you again.
Fast-forward 2 years, Delta-Xray-Delta drove up to those same gates, seeking hospitality. And you knew, as soon as you saw them, they would have to save Y/B/N from his impending fate in this place. No one paid you any attention, orphaned girl who strived to keep her little brother alive, not interested, so you snuck out and walked right up to the retired group.
No one raised a gun as you did so. 15 year old you, with your camouflage pants that matched Ten Thousand's exactly, fitted black long-sleeved shirt and your long hair done up in a half-ponytail. You must have looked more small and innocent than you thought, being in a place where the desired attire was; anything with colours and flowers, but wearing camouflage instead, it honestly made you seem like the badass of that place.
But not with these people. You produced a basket of food as a peace-offering, but Mackenzie wasn't fooled. So you explained.
"The Sisters of Mercy believe that all men should die, so when we find a man with women, children or whatever, we bring them back here. There's a barn, against that far wall on the North side, we put them in there and lock the doors."
"Okay, so what's in the barn right now?" Mackenzie questioned, placing his hands on either side of his holstered guns.
You barely gave them a second glance though, he was clearly paranoid. "A Zombie Bear, well it was a Zombie Wolf but when they put my Father in there, he killed it. He's in there, a Zombie too, with that Bear."
Steven's eyes widened, in horror and sympathy alike. "Why didn't you give him Mercy, Little Lady?"
You shrugged, shaking anxiously at the opportunity to finally explain what it is that they could do for you. "He didn't deserve any, and besides, I didn't have another bullet to waste." You breezed quickly over the subject and got back to the point of you coming over there. "Anyways, this place has a few, very simple rules. Number One; never harm a woman. Number Two; never let a man into your heart. Number Three; at the age of 13, every boy will make the journey to Salt Lake City so he can live with his Dad." You closed your fingers back into your hand, creating a fist at your side. "Only they forget to mention that said 'journey' is suicidal."
"So, what you're saying is that our women are on cult territory right now, a cult that assassinates men?" Mackenzie shouted.
"Technically it's just indirect murder, possibly assisted suicide, but it's not, because the boys have no idea." You sighed, glancing back at the gates.
"And why did you come over here then, just to explain what's going on, so that we understand why you kill us in 5 minutes?"
You ignored Mackenzie and continued. "Here's the thing, Gentlemen, I came here with my brother, 2 years ago, Mom's dead, sister's dead, everyone. He turns 13 at the end of this year."
And finally, they understood everything, the raven-haired boy even made the small jump off of the cars open trunk to stand with his group members and listen.
