Chapter 14

Mat pov

I was not looking forward to talking to the principle, in fact, I was dreading it but I didn't want to show that to Becky.

We started walking and I took her hand in mine and she looked up at me and I smiled bringing her hand up and putting my other hand on the other side of hers. We walked in silence. After a tense walk, we finally got to the office and I knocked and lead Becky in. 'Good morning you two. What brings you here?' I took out the contract for the engagement and handed it to her. 'Just coming to show you the contract for our engagement' ' did your parents do this?' She said reading it ' yes and its also so school knows for if anyone suspects anything for when she comes to me at night and things' ' ok well that's fine you two can go now ' she said handing me the contract paper. I took it and then as we were heading to the door ' shouldn't you have an engagement ring?' 'I told her to take it off so she didn't get any grief from anyone at school ' I replied for Becky as I could tell she wasn't going to be able to speak. 'Ok well I think that will probably be best too ' I nodded and then we went out and to my classroom. Once we walked there I got Becky and I got her to sit on a desk as I got sorted for school.
