4 months later....
My stomach was big as hell now, I couldn't even see my feet.
The doctor still had me on bed rest while the placenta went up it was still low and blocking a part of the cervix.
"Oh...your up," Marciello said as he came in the room.
"Yeah I am and you have some explaining to do," I said.
"I was hanging out with the guys," he said. He didn't smell like weed... this time.
"What did you guys do?", I asked.
"We had a couple of drinks," he said, shrugging as he took off his clothes and got in bed.
Damn his body looked good.
"I don't believe you," I told him.
"Belle, I'm not lying to you," he said.
"Why were you out so late then?", I asked.
"Babe it's 9 o'clock. That's early in regular people time," he said.
"But you've been gone since 8," I said.
"It takes 10 minutes to get there, we drunk for 40 minutes and it took 10 minutes to get back," he said.
"Were there girls there?", I asked.
"No babe, it was just the guys. Even if there were, you know I only have eyes for you. I don't care about these other bitches," he said.
"You better not," I said.
"I don't. Why are you being so paranoid? Are you scared someone is going to take your sexy Spanish stud away?", he asked, smirking. I rolled my eyes and scoffed.
"You don't have to worry babe. I'll never leave your crazy ass," he said as he gave me a kiss. I nodded and responded back to the kiss.
"How are my babies doing?", he asked as he stroked my stomach.
"They are doing good, they've been moving around a lot since you left," I told him.
"They never move when I'm around," Marciello frowned.
"Because their mama boys," I said, smiling.
"No they are daddy girls," he said.
We had been arguing over the gender ever since we started talking about baby names. Our next appointment was going to be in a week, so that's when we will find out.
"We'll see," I said. I knew I was right.
"Yeah we will," Marciello said as he turned off the nightstand lamp. He pulled me closer to him and we both went to sleep.
Marciello's P.O.V.
When I heard Belle's snores I got out of bed.
I grabbed my phone and went outside the room.
I dialed the number and they immediately picked up.
"You made the drop?", I asked.
"Yo no hablo inglés," he said.
"Lo siento. ¿Hizo la gota?," I asked.
"Sí jefe," he said. (Yes boss)
"¿Sacaste el dinero?," I asked him as I went on the balcony. (Did you get all the money?)
I grabbed one of my cigars off the table and lit it.
"Um..
"¡Contesta!," I yelled. (Answer me)
"No todo lo dan a mí, pero..
(They didn't give it all to me but...)"¡Cállate! Encuentra a aquellos hijoputas y consigue mi dinero de mierda," I yelled. (Shut up! You find those motherfuckers and get my fucking money.)
"Sí jefe," he said scared. I hung up the phone and started smoking my cigar. I swear these motherfuckers couldn't do anything right.
"Marciello?", I heard Belle call out. I put out my cigar and went back into the room.
"Where were you?", she asked.
" I needed some fresh air, cariño," I said as I laid back down.
"You smell like cigarettes," she said.
"I was not smoking cigarettes," I said, which technically I wasn't lying. I was smoking a cigar.
"Why you always lying?", she asked.
"Belle tonight is not the night. I'm not in the mood for a fight right now, we can fight in the morning," I said.
"What time?", she asked.
"Like 10," I said.
"Okay, but I'm just going to be even more mad at you," she said.
"Yeah I know," I said. I just hoped she wouldn't throw anything at me.
She laid her head on my chest and after about 10 minutes she fell back asleep. I found myself dozing off but then my phone rang.
"¿Jefe?", I heard the voice say.
"¿Qué te he dicho sobre llamarme en este momento?", I asked. (What have I told you about calling me at this time?)
"31 minutos después de las 10," he said. ( It's 31 minutes after 10.)
"¡Dije que no me llaman después de 10:30!," I said. (I told you not to call me after 10:30)
"Lo siento jefe, pero es importante,'' he said. (I'm sorry boss, but it's important.)
"¿Qué es?," I asked. (What is it?)
"Encontré a los hombres y tengo el dinero," he said. (I found the men and got the money.)
"¿Esperabas un bravo o algo? Debería haber tenido el dinero en primer lugar," I said. (Did you expect a bravo or something? You should have had the money in the first place.)
"Sé y soy Jefe lo siento," he said. I know and I'm sorry boss.)
"Aceptar tu disculpa, pero no dejes que vuelva a suceder," I said. (I accept your apology, but don't let it happen again.)
I hung up the phone and went to sleep.
