"Mama," I heard Marciano say. I opened my eyes and saw him looking down at me excitedly.
"Hey, my baby," I said, smiling lazily.
"I made you bweakfast," Marciano said. I heard a throat clear.
"Daddy and I made you breakfast," Marciano said, correcting himself.
"Really? Thank you," I said as I kissed him on the cheek.
"Do I get a kiss too," Marciello asked.
"C'mere," I said. He walked over. I narrowed my eyes and slapped him across his face.
"Thanks for the breakfast hun," I said sarcastically. I picked Marciano up and went downstairs. We went into the dining room and started eating. Marciello came downstairs, looking pissed.
"You like it mama?", Marciano asked.
"Yes, it's amazing," I said, moaning for extra effect. Marciano giggled and continued eating.
After we finished I washed the dishes and Marciano went upstairs to do some of his homework.
"That's wasn't nice what you did, Belle," Marciello said.
"Well some things you do aren't very nice either," I said.
"You know I love you and I'm trying to get better, but sometimes I just snap. I mean it's only happened twice in four years. I think I deserve some credit," Marciello said.
"Well I would prefer if you didn't do it at all. And it's not just with the hitting, its the things you say," I said.
"Belle you say some hurtful things to me too," Marciello said.
"Yeah, but not to that extent," I said.
"It still hurts," he said.
"When all of this is over you won't have to worry about me no more since I'm such a headache," I said.
"I didn't mean that Belle, but sometimes your so infuriating," Marciello said.
"Whatever. What's said is said and what's done is done. When this is over I'm leaving you and I'm taking the kids with me. If you choose to continue with the mafia then you will not be a part of their lives," I said.
"See your doing it now! You keep saying shit that you know makes me angry as hell," he said.
"I'm telling you what you want. You don't care about me and Marciano. All you care about is the mafia and I don't want any involvement in it," I said.
"I'll leave the mafia," Marciello said.
"Are you just telling me that?", I asked.
"No. All the root of our problems is me being in the mafia and I rather be out of it and have you than be in it and have nothing," Marciello said.
"You better not be playing with me," I said.
''I'm not bebé," Marciello said.
"Okay then, but I'm still a little mad at you so we can't cuddle tonight," I said.
''Belle!", Marciello exclaimed.
"Blame it on my pregnancy hormones," I said shrugging.
"Can I at least have one kiss?", he asked.
''You can if you promise me you will never hit me again and if you do then you will allow me to leave," I said.
"I promise," Marciello said.
"Okay," I said. I leaned up and gave him a quick peck before pulling away. He looked at me disappointed.
"What? That's all your getting for a while now," I said.
"How long is a while?", Marciello asked.
"That's for me to know and for you to find out," I said.
