A/N: This switched to a flashback
I awoke in a panic. I couldn't remember where I was or what I did yesterday. I scanned the room for a hint of what happened. It was too dark to make out much. I heard a door slowly creak open. I quickly pretended to be asleep. I didn't know who was here, or where here was.
"Alice, are you awake?"
The lights flashed on. I think I recognize that voice.
"Alice, I know you're faking it. Open your eyes."
I hesitantly opened my eyes.
"Cali!" I gasped.
"Yeah that's me."
I had so many questions. What happened? What is my best friend doing here?
"W-Where are we?" I stuttered.
"An abandoned house. Found a way to get the lights to work, so I thought it was an okay place."
"Why are we here?"
I needed some answers.
"Well, it's a long story."
