CHAPTER 1: A NEW BEGINNING
BEEP-BEEP-BEEP-BEEP-
Ash slammed the snooze button on the alarm clock, rudely awakened by the loud sound. She rubbed her eyes tiredly, then looked over to the other bed at Ally, who she shared the room with. She sighed, her friend was gifted with the talent to sleep through anything. Brushing her curly black hair out of her face, she set off to complete a dangerous task: waking Ally up.
"Wake up!" She groaned, hitting Ally with a pillow.
"Wha-" Ally stuttered, yanked from the best dream she probably ever had. She smiled as she remembered about hunting with Dean Winchester, the laptop beside her bed containing proof of her Supernatural marathon. Ash woke up remembering the wonderful Twenty One Pilots music she listened to all night.
As Ally and Ash woke up in their 5 star hotel, they both had the feeling something was different and strange about today. They got up for their second day in their Quebec trip, hurriedly dressing to catch a bite of breakfast. Ash pulled on her usual ensemble: black jeans and t shirt. She grabbed her black sweater, blue Adidas sneakers and her favourite blue leather jacket from the closet they shared. Tugging her special necklace which she never takes off around her neck, she yawned. On the other hand Ally yanked on black tights, her favourite twenty one pilots t-shirt, and blue sweater. She clumsily tripped over her galaxy converse, still not fully woken up.
"Ugh." She groaned. "Mornings." She muttered as Ash tossed her black leather jacket, the same necklace Ash has dangling from her slender neck. Now, many people including Ash and Ally think that having the same necklace was just a coincidence. But the odd thing is, they both can never take it off. When they do they feel like a part of them was missing.
Ash rolled her eyes as she heard the loud crash.
"Ally, did you trip over your suitcase again?"
"Hey! It's not my fault!"
"You just left it there!"
"I was tired!"
Ash sighed, waiting for Ally to pick herself up off of the ground where she lay. Her long brown hair was splayed all over the floor, not caring about how dirty the ground was. Ash smiled at her antics, but hurriedly urged Ally to get up. Ally finally shouldered her blue backpack, and said she was ready.
After preparing for breakfast, the girls left their suite. Ally carelessly didn't lock the door properly as they walked out. Their door was slightly ajar. After breakfast they went to their classmates Nour and Zineb's suite for a chat.
Sasha, a curious boy from their class passed by and saw the open door. He didn't pay much attention to it until he saw something. It was shiny, glowing so bright you could see it from miles away. Sasha immediately went to check it out even though he wasn't supposed to. When he got close to the flashing objects he saw that they were 2 small watches. They were carefully crafted of pure gold and had bizarre symbols on them. Sasha had no idea what they were but mesmerized by the glowing objects, he decided to open them. He opened them both at the same time ever so slowly.
Suddenly a big crash of energy pushed away from the watches and Ally and Ash stopped mid sentence, their eyes open. Ash and Ally had just remembered their true identities. Their brains started to function like they were supposed to, full of knowledge and power. They looked at each other and gave each other a gigantic hug.
Nour asked: "Guys, what the heck is going on?"
"Yeah!" Zineb added.
"Oh right, they don't know." Ally stated to her sister Ash.
