I woke up the next morning feeling tired. I dragged myself out of bed and realized why. It was only seven in the morning. If my body stayed on school time, I was going to scream. I forced myself into the shower and came out smelling like my strawberry shampoo and still exhausted. I then wrapped my self in a robe and went slowly into my kitchen.

I got myself a bowl of sugery cereal and a fresh cup of coffee. I yawned and slowly started in on my cereal. Then I remembered, today was the last day I was going to spend at home for a long time. I squealed in surprise and happiness. I was starting in on my newest and first adventure. Me, a brand new high school graduate and a sooon-to-be D.C. bound kid. I just had to pack today and I would be good.

I gulped down my breakfast and got me a new cup of coffee. I walked down to my room and pulled out my big green suitcase. I slipped on pj bottoms and a ratty shirt before starting. I placed my neatly folded suits in along with my undies, bras, silk pajamas I just bought, brand new tooth brush, deoderant, spare make up, my old teddy bear, and some other toiletries. After a couple thoughts, I put in some lazy day clothes and a couple pairs of regular but cute clothes.

I was planning on wearing a suit to the airport and heals so I packed my flip flops in my suitcase. I looked at the clock and it bordered on nine. Packing takes up a lot of time. I went to check up on my mom but I found a note taped to the door that she was at the store real quick but would bring back lunch later. A.k.a. she was out on a date. I don't know why she tried to hide it either, she was bound to know I would find out. She was probably worried that I would be mad at her for leaving on the day I was suppose to leave.

I thought about it and couldn't believe it. I, Daniella Bryans, was going to Washinton D.C. to meet the president. I squealed and ran out my front door. I did a couple cartwheels and a back handspring. I popped back up and looked around to see if anyone had seen me. A old lady who had been pouring lemonade on her front porch for a little kid was looking at me shocked. She didn't even realize when the glass got to full and started slipping onto the boys lap.

I giggled and half waved before she turned to the mess and started cleaning up while apologizing. I looked around but noboby was watching me. Then I moon walked into my house and shut the door. I leaned against the door before desolving into a fit of giggles. I probably just shocked the old ladies heart into cardiact arrest. I had never had an out burst like that one seen, and she probably thought I was going crazy. I wouldn't doubt her though, I was considering it too.

I decided since I had all my packing done, I might as well clean. I did the dishes, dusted, and did laundry. I had just put in my first load when my mom came home. I looked out the window and she was talking to the old lady, the old lady looked concerned and was talking feverishly to my mother. I closed the curtain and ran to my room. I hopped on my bed and pulled out a random book.

"Hey honey" my mom said as she entered my room. I nodded to her while trying to look like I was engrossed in my book. "May I ask why you are reading a math textbook?" my mom said with a weird look. I smacked my head with the palm of my hand. "I was trying to appear normal" I said with my eyes shut. "Oh honey, I really don't think that's possible" she said as she sat on my bed. There was humor written plainly in her eyes. "Can I ask you why you went crazy in the front lawn earlier and, I quote, 'acted like a crack addicted Micheal Jackson'?" she said and I squeezed my eyes shut tighter. "Did she really call me that?" I asked and my response was my mothers laughter.

"Get up my cute little crack addict. Time for lunch. I got Taco bell" she said and left. I tried to get up but I didn't take note of the blankets wrapped around my legs or the text book on my chest and ended up falling hard onto the floor. "Holy Albert Einstein!" I said while rubbing my knee. Today was definitally an off day for me. I straightened my glasses and tried to gain as much dignity as possible before walking into the kitchen.
