Adventure for Fortune

CHAPTER 1

* NARRATOR POV*

Once, there were two very poor families. In fact, they were so poor, that they had to live in the same house. The house had 2 rooms, one for the parents of both families, and one for the children. The first family had a 6 year old daughter named Marina. The second family had two girls, a 11 year old named Elise, and a 12 year old named Eileen.

One day, Elise said, " I've had enough! I'm going to go look for fortune!" Eileen and Marina stared at her.

" Are you CRAZY!?!?!?" Eileen exclaimed. " I've made my decision." Elise said. " I'm leaving tommorrow." Eileen stared at her with her mouth open.

" I'm going too!"Marina announced. Eileen had no choice but to go with them." Fine, but we need to be back quick" she said.

The next night, they packed three bags filled with: rise, an apple, 1$, a bowl, water in a water bottle, a small blanket, a flashlight, and a comapass. Then they were ready to go. They left a note on the table saying:
' WE ARE GOING ON A TRIP TO FIND OUR FORTUNE. PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO STOP US. WE WILL COME BACK SOON.
YOUR DAUGHTERS,
MARINA, EILEEN, AND ELISE'

" Well, lets get going then" said Elise. It was getting very dark, and they were all very tired. They went until they came upon a river. "Let's rest here" Eileen told them.

The next morning, they followed the river to its end, were there was a bridge. " let's go that way" Marina said pointing in the direction of the bridge. So they did. The bridge was making a cracking sound as they passed. After that, they decided to go North until they reached the mountains. When they reached the mountains, it was dark, and Eileen said "let's find some shelter for the night." They looked here and there, until finally, Marina said, " I found a cave!" They made a fire, because it was a very dark cave. They laid in the cave trying to go to sleep, when all of a sudden, a green tiger jumped out of nowhere. They screamed, and tried to hide, but there was no way out. " WE ARE GOING TO DIE!!!!!" Screamed Marina. " THIS IS THE END!!!!!!!" Screamed Elise. Then the green tiger scratched Eileen on the arm, and Marina started throwing rocks at the green tiger. Luckily, it went away. " I'm tired." Eileen said. "I'm going to sleep." She quickly fell asleep. " Hey!" Marina said. "What?" Elise responded. " look at her arm." Marina told her." Her blood is turning black." " this isn't good" Elise told Marina with a worried look on her face. " let's go get help."

They came to a village, and then saw a man. "Excuse me, sir." Elise said. " our friend has been scratched by this green tiger and...."
" MONSTER MONSTER?!?!?!?!?!?" The man interrupted. " lead me to your friend as quickly as possible."

They got back to the cave and the man put a weird liquid on Eileen's arm. "Call me Mr.E." the man said. " the green tiger you saw was Monster Monster. He is poison, so watch out."

"You kids can come and stay at my house " Mr. E. said." My wife and I would be happy to take care of you kids for a while." Just then, Eileen woke up. " what's going on?" She asked. "Just come with us" Marina said.
