Max sighed as the migraine he could feel beginning to form began to pound against his skull. He still had two videos to edit and he had a feeling he wouldn't make it through them.

As he edited he winced everytime anyone shouted in the video, which was mainly Adam. By the time he was half way through the first video he had paled dramatically and was even sweating slightly.

TimTim looked over at Max and a cloud of worry washed over him. Max was squinting badly, flinching at whatever sound was coming from his headphones and he looked like he was about to throw up.

"Max, you okay?" TimTim asked going over to his friend. When Max didn't respond TimTim reached a hand out and grabbed his shoulder. Max jumped high out of his chair, the sudden rush of movement causing him to clutch his head and close his eyes, groaning in pain.

"Woah, Max I think you should sit down."

Max looked confused like he wasn't processing the situation and then he flinched as Adam's voice assaulted him through his headphones. Seeing him flinch Max's friend took the headphones off his head and steered him towards a quiet room, a firm hand on Max's elbow.

Finding an empty and quiet room was a lot more difficult than he thought it would be and soon TimTim had to settle for Ross' office. He knew Ross would be the most quiet in a situation like this and so after quietly explaining the situation to

Ross they both set to work making the room as silent and dark as possible so as to not assault Max's shot senses.

Ross took Max from TimTim and with little force he was able to get Max to lay on the ground. Once Max was lying down Ross began to massage his temples. Ross' mother had used to get migraines and so Ross knew how to deal with this. Max fell asleep quickly enough.

Ross looked down at the ginger haired man he had fallen for. It pained him to see him like this but he had to admit Max looked so peaceful and cute when sleeping. He just wished his crush would feel better soon.

Sadly when Max next woke up he was not feeling better he was feeling worse. As soon as he opened his eyes, despite the lights being off, Ross' office was too bright and he had to sit up quickly in search of something to throw up into.

Ross seeing his panicked look handed him the bin and sat there pitying Max as the poor man threw up all of the contents of his stomach.

Being careful to shield the phone light away from Max Ross texted Adam to say that he was going to take Max home. The issue was he had no idea how to keep the older man from being in too much pain.

Quickly he thought of a plan and wrapped his sweater around Max's eyes. He grabbed his bucket and with the help of TimTim was able to get Max to the car.

The short trip home felt like an eternity as every small bump or rock of the car caused Max to whimper in pain. Eventually it was over and Ross was finally able to help Max into bed.

Max clutched onto Ross' arm in his delirious state and demanded he stay. Not being able to argue with the injured man Ross sighed and rolled over Max's computer chair to sit beside the bed.

For the next 24 hours Max would wake up in varying stages of consciousness and each time Ross was there to give him water or food or to ease the pain.

When eventually Max woke up with his migraine gone he woke up to Ross sitting in the chair beside his bed asleep and KP curled against his stomach. He smiled and fell back asleep exhausted by the past day's events.
