Comms Poem 1

I was in a dark room,
Alone, sitting on a seat;
Bent over in the dark,
Alone.
My back was arched forward,
To the refusal of the chairs support.
The chair Barked at me
Telling me to lean back,
But I could not.
Gravity sucked the life out of me
As I speculated the floor,
Pulling me to the ground,
Like death dragging me to
Hell.
Hell is the fecund of humanity.
As the Devils merchant
Casts away your soul,
To the dead.
Death is the refusal of light
And life.
And life is nature,
If there was no nature,
There would be nothing.
The world would be dystopian.
Everything would be lost.
Life is sprightly and
Should be exciting to live,
Life is too short,
To sit there and be distort
I was alone
But not feeling it.

Hey guys so this was my English Comms class poem. It was an exercise that we had to do in class and it had to have 5 words from the sheet that was given to us. And these are the words I picked: Bent, Refusal, Bark, Speculate, Fecund, Merchant, Sprightly. I know that there is seven but hey ho I'm an English geek haha. I'm not good at it but I do love reading stories and reading poems.
