After his release from military prison, James Powers is hired by a mysterious woman to find money embezzled by a crooked hedge fund. His investigation leads him to a world of international finance, political corruption and organized crime. QR Capital was a high flying investment firm with political connections. The firm's political connections provided inroads to exclusive investment opportunities. Its financial connections provided seed capital from organized crime figures eager to launder their funds. When the firm hits troubled times, its investors scramble for the scraps and the government scrambles for a conviction. James Powers is hired by Mia Tyler to retrieve her organization’s investment. James finds himself in a race with the government, organized crime and mysterious stalkers for the missing money and a mysterious package that may hold the key to the fate of QR Capital and secrets behind its operations.
