Travel in the mm

It felt good as hell to be back home and not have to worry about no bullshit. Things felt as if they were almost back to normal. But you know what they say drop one problem and another one pops up out the blue.

"Baybeh ya gotta eat somethin' mama. Ya cant keep starvin' yaself. Whats up witcha Bella?" I sat on the side of the bed rubbing small circles in her back as she sniffled.

She hadn't been eating much of anything in the past week that we'd been home. All she did was sleep, cry, and complain. I just wanted to figure out what was wrong with her. If she was indeed sick I wanted to get her to the doctor.

"I just don't feel good Trav everything hurts." She whined for the hundreth time today.

"Well cryin' bout da shit aint solvin' much of nothin love. Ya wanna go ta da docta' or sumn?"

"No I hate doctors and hospitals. Just let me take something for this headache and get a nap in. Then when I wake up I'll feel better and we can do something." She mustered up the best smile she could but I could tell she was still in pain. I wasn't gone force her to do anything though no matter how bad I wanted to snatch her up out this bed and drag her to the hospital.

I simply nodded my head to her response. I looked at her a little longer before finally getting up and leaving the room so she could sleep.

Heading into the living room I could here Callie clapping and mumbling inaudible words as she watched The mickey mouse club house. She was trapped in the little gate I bought so all she could do was watch TV and play with her toys within that little area. Stepping into her view I sang the hot dog song causing her to squeal and dance along. It was her favorite part of the show.

"Hot dog, hot dog, hot diggety dog na we got ears, it's time fa cheers.

Hot dog, hot dog, da prahlems solved, hot dog, hot dog, hot diggety dog.

Grab ma boots and a sandmich let's start a parade, get da coconut drum kit fa Daisy ta play.

Hot dog, hot dog, hot diggety dog, we're takin' off, we're dancin' na, hot dog, leapfrog, and holy cow Hot dog, hot dog, hot diggety dog.

Hot dog, hot dog, hot diggety dog It's a brand new day whatcha waitin' fa? Get up, stretch out, stomp on da flo'.

Hot dog, hot dog, hot diggety dog hot dog, hot dog, hot diggety dog we're splittin' da scene we're fulla beans"

After the song went off she started to pout because the show was over. I pressed rewind so fast. I aint have time for two crying babies.

Picking her up out the little fort I made I let her sit on the couch with me as she re watched the same episode she had just watched as if she was seeing it for the first time. I got into the show as well as I always did. Especially with Dora. I would get so mad when she would ask what my favorite part was then the little bitch would cut me off as I was trying to explain.

"So dis wat ya do Callie replace me witcha ugly ass daddy? He wasnt wit us watchin' mickey mouse in da gym." August came into the living room taking a seat on the couch mugging me. Callie jumped up from my lap crawling over to him.

"Damn callie back at it again wit da switchin' up on ya pops. ya down bad."

"Tell ya daddy we been rockin' tell him ya love ya uncle aug mamas. Aint dat right?" I ignored his baby talk as Callie talked gibberish back to him and he replied as if he knew what she was saying.
