Chapter 5

A/N~ Hey ya'll! I'm sorry I've been so stuck for a while... I've all of a sudden been super busy, I know, it's the same old excuses. But good news! I now have a study hall!!! Which means more writing time!!! :D Here we go! And I hope you enjoy!

Louis's POV.

Well. It's official! Having a baby is hard! We were in Mary's nursery. I was trying to get her to take a few steps, then she would get frustrated and sit down. Then when I'd stop with her, she'd want to get back up!
I am so tired! And this kid seems to have so much energy, like seriously where does it come from?! I bet it comes from Lucy's side of the family...
"It comes from you Lou, not me.." I hear a voice.
"AH! Tiny voice in my mind, what up?!?!"
"No, no tiny voice, just your wife." I turned around and saw her in the rocking chair.
"Oh.."
"Yeah, you were talking out loud again." She chuckled.. "She's getting so big."
"I know, I can't believe she's already 9 months." I smiled.
"Do you think we should start signing around her? Like a baby starts picking up words around now. Or at least one or two like ma and pa. Plus I read somewhere that babies pick up sign much faster." Lucy started to ramble.
"Sure love. I think that's a good idea" I signed, kinda poorly, but I signed it. We started to go to classes to Learn sign. Plus I hired us a coach. Just so we could learn faster. I knew it was important to Lucy that we learned quickly so she could actually communicate with our baby.
"Ok." She signed back. "Mother? Can you sign Mother, Mary?" Lucy signed while talking. We learned from the coach that it's important to talk at least till she get's signing down so she can also learn how to lip read, but then we don't have to after she get's it.
At first she just giggled, but then she started to move her hands around! At first we thought she was getting it, but she was just playing around.
"Maybe not today darling, but soon." I chuckled picking her up.
"Soon." Lucy giggled kissing Mary on her cheek. "I can't wait."
"Me neither, But I'm Really excited for her to get these steps down!" I dropped Mary down to her feet and started to walk with her holding on to her hands..... Then she started to do it. She started to step!!! "Yes! That's it Baby Girl!" I cheered! I never let go, because she still doesn't have the balance down, but she will!
"Good job Mary!" I saw Lucy sign to her. I directed mary to her mother and had her walk to Lucy.
Lucy picked her up and proudly kissed her head! It was perfect. I kissed my girls' heads and looked back at Mary once again.
Mary was asleep on Lucy's shoulder. "Well that's one way to get her to sleep!" I laughed.
"I think we should take this opportunity to have some adult fun now." Lucy smirked.

"You don't mean.." I said shocked.

"Yes I do..." Lucy said with a twinkle in her eye. "Lets to our room....... with some ice cream, and watch that new netflix series!!!" She laughed.

"I could think of nothi- well not nothing," I winked, and she just laughed in reply, "but that sounds like a great idea!"
