I was shaken awake with a bump in the road, my head knocked against the glass. I looked around to get my bearings. Mr. Grey rested his hand on my shoulder gently.
" You're okay son."Looking out the window I could tell we where in the city making our way through the alleyways and side streets. The road began to get very bumpy so I sat upright in my seat looking intently out the windshield. The scenery began to speed up as Mr.Grey accelerated the vehicle.
"Sit back son we have a bit of a problem." He said abruptly.
Not caring or even listening to it, I turned around. At first glance I seen nothing more then a black blip next to one of the trailing vehicles. I Squinted a bit because I lost my glasses in the chase from that thi...that thing was on one of the vehicles. It was attempting to get inside one of the vehicles or at least destroy it I couldn't tell at first but a few punches and claws later it finally succeeded. The windshield flew against one of the buildings and shattered. Pulling the driver from the cabin of the vehicle it began to swerve violently. Mr.Grey for the first time raised his voice at me.
"Sit back in your seat, and hold on to something!" he said sternly
I did as I was told and sat back in my seat putting the chest strap over me, gripping the handle on the door tightly; just barely after I did Mr.Grey cut a sharp right onto the main road, swerving in and out of traffic. The engine was now screaming as he pushed the pedal down as far as it could go. That thing was now on top of the vehicle behind us doing the same to it as it did the last. Mr.Grey cut the wheel to the left hard and we slid around the corner to another main road. The tires screeched and hollered as they ate up the pavement. We turned the corner and kept the pace for a bit but seeing that the thing wasn't behind us anymore Mr.Grey began to slow down. We drove for a while until we got to the police department and he pulled around back to the investigation department, this was a smaller building behind the police department. He turned into the parking lot but before showing his badge to the Officer in the small booth. We took the car lift to the bottom floor of the parking garage. As we did, he set hand cuffs in my lap.
"You're going to have to put these on, son."
I looked over at him with utter confusion, and he returned my expression with a jovial one.
"Only reason being, you are supposed to be in the back seat of this vehicle in handcuffs as an arrest for suspected double murder."
