I entered my room just as I went back to being Marinette.

"That was close," Tikki sighed.

"No kidding," I mumbled.

"Do you really think this will work though?" Tikki asked.

"I trust Chat Noir. He would never do anything wrong," I assured.

"Well, then let's go to the Eiffel Tower!" Tikki exclaimed.

"Tikki! Trans-" I started.

"Marinette!" my mom entered through the trapdoor.

"Mom!" I exclaim as Tikki flies into my bag.

"I just wanted to make sure you were okay. I mean, you suddenly ran away..." my mom's voice drifted.

"I'm sorry mom, I just saw Alya and wanted to say hi," I lied.

"Next time, just call out for her okay?"my mom's eyes softened.

"Actually, mom, I'm meeting up with Alya now," I mumbled.

"Are you sure? You're still a bit sick," my mom questioned.

"I'm sure. Bye mom," I gave her a quick kiss on the cheek and left.

"That was close!" Tikki sighed.

"No kidding. Now, let's go!"

"Here's your Camembert, Plagg," Adrien sighed.

"Finally!" Plagg gulped it down in one bite.

"I don't understand how you can eat that," Adrien grumbles.

"It's delicious," Plagg glared.

"Well, no more time to rest Plagg. We can't keep Ladybug waiting," I smirked.

"Oh no," Plagg sighs.

"Plagg! Transform me!"

----------------------------

"Where is that cat?" I grumbled in dismay.

"Miss me, princess?" a voice whispered into my ear.

"Kya!" I screamed and jumped.

"Sorry, Ladybug," Chat Noir grinned.

"No time to dilly dally. We have to track that akuma," I instructed and we followed my tracker.

It led us to a giant emporium.

"This is building belongs to my dad.." Chat Noir mumbled.

"Doesn't it belong to Gabriel Agreste?" I asked.

"I-I mean it used to be owned by my dad, until Gabriel bought it," Chat Noir chuckled.

I eyed him suspiciously before swinging towards the emporium.

I stopped at the entrance, which was guarded by a large man.

"Oh, the Gorilla," Chat Noir groaned.

"Gorilla?" I asked.

"He works for my fath- I mean Gabriel!" Chat caught his tongue.

"Is he tough?" I asked.

"Very. Good luck getting past him," Chat Noir chuckled halfheartedly.

I narrowed my eyes and approached the large man. "Excuse me, I need to get through here," I smiled.

The Gorilla gave a rough "huff" towards me in a demeaning manner. He looked away and motioned for me to leave.

I growled and stomped back to Chat Noir.

"What did I say?" he purred.

"Shut up," I grumbled.

"Well, time to take drastic measures," Chat Noir sighed in his trademark pose.

"CATACLYSM!" he charged towards the Gorilla.

The large bodyguard jumped and Chat Noir clawed the building right above his head.

The door frame collapsed and Chat Noir and I jumped in. We raced to the top and stopped once we saw the dark figure in the shadows.

"Ladybug and Chat Noir," the figure smirked.

"Hawk Moth," I said sternly.
