This story ended a while ago, but I've seen some people saying they'd like to read what happened with Nathaniel and Marinette. So here it is?

-

"Marinette, sorry I'm late," Nathaniel ran up to me, out of breath. His fingers ran through his red hair, revealing his other eye. As he did so, an apologetic smile appeared on his face.

"Why were you late? Are you cheating on me now?" I laughed, causing his face go beet red.

"Of course not! I would never do that to you!" Nathaniel defended, clasping my hand in his. My face went red as I laughed.

"I was just joking, but I feel reassured you feel that way," I smiled, tightening my grip in his hand.

It had been almost a year since Adrien's death. A few months after his death, Nathaniel had become one of my closest friends. After two months of periodic date nights, we officially started dating.

"Well, shall we go? There are two seats in the movie theater waiting for us," Nathaniel smiled as he held up two tickets.

"Of course. Lead me, oh kind sir," I giggled.

"As you wish, m'lady," Nathaniel and I began to walk. The nickname pinched my heart, but I ignored it.

Once we had finished the movie, Nathaniel and I walked down the street, our hands intertwined.

"Hey, wanna stop by here?" Nathaniel pointed at an antique store named Trouvé. It was a small shop, coated in dark wood. A large window displayed some clothes and collectibles.

"Sure, it looks interesting," I smiled up at him.

"Awesome! I come here sometimes to look at art," Nathaniel let me inside. We released our hands from each other's grasp as Nathaniel rushed to look at a painting.

"Marinette, look at this one!" Nathaniel beamed.

"Woah, that's pretty," I looked at the painting.

"If you want, you can wander around and see if there's anything you like. I'll buy it for you if I have enough money for it," Nathaniel smiled at me before walking deeper into the store.

I looked around, examining all the objects. There were a large variety of items in the store, ranging from beautiful photo frames to questionable cutlery. I took a few more steps into the store, glancing at all the strange objects before having a sparkle catch my eye.

As I approached the object that caught my eye, I realized it was a box presenting jewelry. Brooches, to be precise. In the black box were two brooches.

I picked up one of the brooches. It was black with two green dots in the middle. As I examined it closer I realized it was a cat. I traced my fingers over the jewels, basking in the memory of Chat Noir. I then glanced at the second brooch and picked it up. It was dazzled with red gems but had dispersed black gems as well. Almost looking like a ladybug.

"That's a pretty piece of jewelry," a voice from behind made me jump in surprise, almost dropping the two brooches.

"Nathaniel! You scared me!" I chuckled, looking at my redhead boyfriend.

"Sorry," Nathaniel laughed. "Do you want one?"

Before I responded, I looked once again. I placed the two pins in the box and shook my head. "No, I just thought they were pretty."

"You sure?" Nathaniel raised his eyebrow.

"Yeah. Now let's go home, okay?" I grinned at him as I dragged him to the exit.
