A couple weeks later and we’re heading back toward my hometown. They we’re staying in the same hotel while I went home to take the test that the principal wants me to. I kept on telling everyone we didn’t have to come here for me, but they agreed because this was the last week before they go back on tour.
Niall and I barley got to hang out with everything they’re doing and people still talk bad about me. The good thing about the test being tomorrow I ended up changing my hair today back to my normal color and after the test is when I changed my hair back.
Tatum doesn’t want me to change back to my natural hair color, but if I show up everyone would want to talk to me, be my friend and everything. That’s what I told them and I even say I would changed my hair back to the way I like it.
Eight at night and the lads dropped my off at home. I waved bye to them. I got up to the garage and entered the code. Seven, three, nine, four, five. I punched it in and it started to open. Sighed because I thought for a second I would forget about the password. I got in closed the door and went to make sure they alarm didn’t go off.
After that the first thing I went to was the kitchen for a snack before any of the guys call to make sure I was good for tomorrows testing. The first thing that caught my eye was the dr. pepper and cake. My father told me that he brought home cake and said I could have a piece.
Cake and soda, yeah one of my best ideas to do because they go together really well for me. Opening to get the piece of cake I got a knife and a plate. Making sure I didn’t get a to big of a piece I placed it on my plate and put it back in the fridge.
I took it over to the kitchen table and sat down and started to eat in silence. I forgot how much I didn’t like to eat alone. It’s been forever since I did this before I met them.
Halfway through my food I stop and drink my soda as I wait for someone to call me or something. I’m going out of my mind as all I hear is the ticking of the clock and my fork hitting the plate.
Groaning I pushed my plate away from me and looked around my house. Everything was spotless. No dishes, everything is in it’s place and even the fridge is the same as I left it other than the recent food is bran new. Why did I agree to all of this. We could be somewhere else doing something else. The week before they were in Boston and it was beautiful. Cold than what I expected, but it was nice being there. My friend had other things to do so we never talked to each other so I was kinda sad that I couldn’t see her.
I miss her so much. Our awkward conversations, the long complicated handshake we learned from each other and even our annoying laughter together. I remember when we use to talk every night before we go to bed and talk about how much we can do when we graduate from high school. Now she’s all the way over there and I’m here.
My home phone breaks my consideration and starts to vibrates on the table. I blink as I see who is calling me. I was about to then I notice it was about to go on voicemail. Quickly I picked it up as I almost spilled my soda on the counter.
“H-hello?” I asked.
“Finally! I’ve been calling you five times!” I was confused and shook it off.
“Oh, sorry I was in deep thought.” I told whoever it was.
“Well okay, so you ready for tomorrow?” Irish, Niall of course.
“Don’t remind me!” I groaned as I wrapped the rest of the cake and put it in the fridge.
Walking out of the kitchen I turned off the light and the whole house was dark. I started upstairs and into my room. I turned on the light seeing everything is still in its place.
