Chapter 3

Wyatt POV:

<<PEEP, PEEP, PEEP!!>>

My alarm went off telling me that it was time to get up. My father advised me to go to bed early last night since today would be my first day of school, I wisely obeyed him. When I walked to the bathroom, I looked at my reflection in the mirror and noticed how tired I looked. Okay, I did not listen to my father. But who the fuck goes to sleep at 8:00pm anymore?

I took a quick shower. Once done, I put my boxers on and picked my jeans of the floor and put them on as well. I went back to the bathroom to brush my teeth and noticed halfway through the process that there wasn't any cup to rinse the toothpaste in my mouth. See, I would've done like any other human and make a cup with my hands but where's the fun in that? I smiled to myself as I center all my focus in the water flowing through the facet, making a portion of the water elevate in front of my until it was almost at the ceiling. Once in was that high, I stepped under it, opened my mouth and let it go so I could catch it in my mouth. After I rinsed my mouth, I smiled to myself proudly. Out of the 4 elements I have been able to control, water is by far my favorite one.

I dried my hands and face and walked to my closet to get a shirt. I picked the closest one to me which ended up being a good choice since it was black and a little tight showing off my arms and chest muscles. When I went downstairs I found my dad waiting for me by the stairs.

"Let's talk for a minute." I nodded and followed him to the kitchen to hear what he had to say while eating my sandwich. "Last week you were finally able to control the last element. You said you didn't feel any difference." I nodded. The last element was air, it was the only element I was missing to be able to control, but I didn't feel anything that I was told I would feel. I was supposed to feel balanced and stronger, but I didn't feel anything. I haven't been able to understand why. "Son, I've felt a new strong energy in this town and that could only mean one of two things: 1. there is another Donatur here. 2. There might be some danger coming that we might have to worry about. Let me know if you pick up on any energy out of the ordinary, we must be wary." I nodded as I bit the piece that ended my sandwich.

"I will pay close attention." I said in an official voice. "I have to go, if I see anything suspicious I'll notify you. Love you." I said giving him a quick hug and left.

I left my house and got in my car, a convertible CLK Mercedes in a champagne color and white leather interiors. Turned on my car and left my garage.

When I got to the school's office, the principal, Mrs. Parker, gave me my schedule and asked a teacher to show me around and take me to my classes. The teacher looked like she was in a rush. When we were far from the office I asked her:

"Is everything okay?" she explained that she had to go but that she made sure to give me the same schedule as one of her trusted students and that this student would show me around and help me find my classrooms. I nodded and assured her that I didn't mind the change and could understand her situation. She asked me to wait where I was while she went to talk to the student that she told me about.

Everyone was just getting out of class now to get lunch.  I didn't want to get lost so I did my best to stay in the same place. I have no idea how many times I spun in the same place because of people's backpacks coming from every direction and hitting me by accident. Everyone was just too focused on talking to the people they apparently hadn't seen all summer to notice me just standing in the middle of the hallway trying not to get lost. It wasn't until I heard the teacher call my name that I was able to locate her again. She signaled for me to walk over so I did.
