Sweet Dreams

(Y/N) POV.

"(Y/N) we're sorry. We love you but-." Said my parents as they stood next to each other. A hooded figure then brought his green sword up and cut off my parent's heads. The sword was a demon blade. I tried to run over to them but someone's hand grabbed me from behind. 

The hooded figure removed its hood. My eyes widened as I realize who it was. "Sugar into salt, gold to silver, day into night, happiness into despair. This time life into death, my dear niece. Now you can be mine. Forever and ever. And ever and ever~" It was my uncle, but how? "No, you're dead!" I yelled as I felt a hand grab my throat. My uncle looks at me with a psychotic smile. "My dear child if I were dead would I know who this young lad is?" Kaname suddenly appeared next to him except he was an older version of him. "You don't need him. He will only be hurting you. Shall I dispose of him slowly or with one clean cut?" "NOOOOO!!!!!! Don't touch him!" I yelled only to have the hand on my throat tighten causing me to gasp. "D-don't. I'll... Do as... you say... please don't..." I said though gasps as I grab the hand that was around my neck. "If you say so my little robin." He then let's go of Kaname, only to have him cut his head off with the same sword. He laughed like a maniac along with a woman's voice. "(Y/N)...? (Y/N).... (Y/N)!!!"

I woke up to see brown colored hair. Kaname? I then realized that he was holding me. I got up quickly and stood straight. "Kaname. What are you doing here?" He then got off his knees and stroked my hair gently almost like he was afraid I would break. "Yuki and the Headmaster was worried when you weren't there. I came to take you home." He said like nothing had happened. I want to hate you Kaname. I really do, but I can bring myself to do it.

Kaname POV.

I had seen (Y/N) outside the window earlier so I said that loud enough for her to hear, even if it made me feel like I tore myself in half. I hate to do this to (Y/N) but I have to finish what I started, I have to. "How did you know where I was?" (Y/N) said in a soft tone. I then told her that I could track her because I asked the Headmaster where she lived but it was a lie. She really runs fast, it took me an hour and a half to find this place. As we walked back to the Headmaster's house we were quite all the way back. I'm sorry (Y/N), but I have to do this.

~Time Skip to age 11~

(Y/N) POV.

It had been two years since that day Kaname kissed me and broke my heart, I had trained almost every night after everyone fell asleep. I have to be stronger for Yuki and myself. "Headmaster I don't understand... Kaname-sama... is a vampire, right?" Yuki said as she was putting her school stuff down; she had just gotten home from school. I don't really go to school since I had already passed school since I was 4. Lucky me. 

"Yes. The government hasn't made it public that vampires and demons exist...so please keep it a secret too, Yuki," Said Mr. Cross as I handed him the spice he needed for dinner. "Thank you, (Y/N). Could you make the side dish?" I nodded and went to one of the counter's and began to mince the onion which always made me cry and I hated it because it made me look weak. 

"A secret," said Yuki causing me to stop. "It's a secret, but Kaname-sama let me touch... his vampire fangs. Kaname-sama won't do anything like that scary vampire, right? He's completely different, right?" Yuki said and I when back to cutting vegetables. I don't want to say anything about this because I, myself and a type of bloodsucker, just one that isn't a vampire. 

"Has Kaname ever done anything that you didn't want him to, Yuki? There are vampires and demons you can be friends with." He said as he got two mugs of hot chocolate and handed one to Yuki. Yuki then nodded and said yes to Mr. Cross. 

I then stop cutting the vegetables and stab the knife onto the cutting board making them both flinch. "I have been making the side dishes and you haven't even made the main dish! You've been making hot chocolate all this time?!" I then grab a potato and throw it at him as he was apologizing. 

"DAMN YOU!!! Honestly you a pathetic excuse for a man! Why do you think Yuki doesn't call you father?! Now I have to make the main dish too." I said as I walked over to the half seasoned turkey. Yuki was laughing that I had told the Headmaster off. I put the turkey in the oven and put on a timer. 

"Okay, Cross listen up. You too Yuki, in case he forgets like last time. I put the time and once it rings I want to get the syringe and inject some of the access juice that has accumulated in the bottom to the turkey in different parts. Once that is done slide the turkey back in and set the timer for 20 minutes. Once that is over set it off to cool down." 

As I was done explaining I felt the presence of 17 vampires; level E's. I then start to leave the kitchen and head to the front door. "(Y/N) where are you going?! (Y/N)!!!" Yelled Mr. Cross as he went after me but failed. 

I ran to the direction where the vampires were coming from. Once I got there the vampire looked at me with a twisted smile. "Why are you here vampire?! Leave, before I change my mind on letting you live!" Their leader then started to laugh. "Oh really? And what would a little girl like you do, eh?" I grinned at them but not an actual smile. It was twisted and my eyes had turned a fierce fuchsia. The second time I had ever lost it.

I took a hold of Artemis and held it out to where they could see it as it transformed it to a sword. They the stood ready to attack.

They then started to charge at me and I stood my ground and wait for them to come to me as I ready my sword.

"Some of them want to use you.

Some of them want to get used by you.

I then cut the first three vampires' heads off in one quick swift motion that looked as if I hadn't even moved until the vampires' heads fell to the snowy white floor. The snow had been dyed red. The other fourteen vampires looked at me in horror as I let my hair cover my face to the point to where you could only see my sick twisted smile. They then all charge at me as I swing my sword.

"Some of them want to abuse you.

Some of them want to be abused."

I had finished all of them and was now walking on the ashes of them. I sense someone walking behind me. I ready my sword and swing to the person but they dodge the attack. [Like in the picture] "It's me (Y/N)." I then look to see Kaname. My eyes widened and I put the sword down. Kaname then approached me and strokes my hair. He smiled at me but then his expression changed when he stopped stroking my hair. "(Y/N)... I want to form a Faustian contract with you." Said Kaname with a serious expression. My eyes widened.
