*bang bang* ... *bang bang* ...*bang bang bang bang*

"Lexi will you fucking get the door! I'm trying to sleep for god sake!" My brother screamed from down the hall.

Groaning, I sat up, "Yeah like I'm not!"

Knowing my brother I am fully aware that he won't get up until at least 1pm so sighing I swung my legs over my queen sized bed. Glancing at the clock, I notice it's only 3am. There's only one person I know who would have the audacity to come here at this time of night...well morning.

*bang bang bang*... *bang...bang...bang...bang*

"Well someone's impatient," I muttered.

Cursing the entire way down the stairs, I finally open the door to my shock horror.

"Noah!" I gasped.

Standing against the door frame , well more like collapsing against the door frame, was a beaten up, bruised, bloody Noah Wolfe aka my brother's best friend. And here we go again. To be completely honest I have no idea why I'm so shocked. I mean I'm used to this.

Every so often Noah would turn up late at night completely a mess. Then whilst he almost passed out I'd clean his cuts whilst my brother would vent off about some "little sneaky dick". I never really understood but apparently Noah was in a sort of fight club, although whenever I asked to watch him fight they'd both instantly change the subject. Judging by the ways I've seen my brother in as well, I assume he's also a "fighter".

Anyway, like I said before, I'd seen Noah in some pretty bad states but this... this was too extreme for a refereed fight.

Grabbing his arm, I pull it over my shoulder and walk him to the coach as he limps next to me. Settling him down, I realised two things: Firstly, all my medical equipment was upstairs and I was definitely not leaving him alone like this and secondly, there was no way I was waking up my brother just so he could annoy me while I was trying to fix up his best friend.

"Can you walk up the stairs for me please?" I asked gently.

"Anything for you Sexy Lexi," He smirked even though it looked more like a grimace of pain.

Step by step, we eventually reached the bathroom. He lent up against the bath side as I took the first aid kit from under the sink.

As I gently wiped all the dried blood away, I began to notice there were a lot less cuts than I originally thought. So that must mean it's not all his blood... Good. I'm glad whoever done this to Noah was just as bad if not worse. Despite his rough edges, Noah was actually one of the sweetest boys I knew and probably one of my most trusted people in the world.

Putting some soothing creme on each of his cuts, I could sense his stare. Looking up at him through my eyelashes, I tried my best pouty face.

"I'm sorry okay?" He groaned.

"No. No your not. I know that the whole fight club is bullshit but I just don't understand why you guys lie to me," I say trying to hold back tears. Call me stupid. I don't care. It's just I've obviously always known my brother and he always tells me the truth and Noah...Well I've known Noah for 8 years and he hasn't lied to me this bad either.

"Please don't cry Lex. You know I want to tell you but Jace... If Jace found out I told his little sister he'd kill me," He explained. "Literally," He muttered lowly but not low enough for me to not catch it.

I sighed, "Take off your shirt," I commanded.

Noah looked lost for a second before he realised I wanted to finish fixing him up. He smirked evilly.
