Stitches

I woke up to the smell of pancakes being cooked. Mmm yum!

Jumping out of bed, I start to remember everything from last night. Great... I'm sure this morning should
be fun.

A sudden rush of anger surfaced me as I gritted my teeth in order to try and calm myself down.

Bounding down the stairs, not caring I was still in my tank top and basketball shorts, I entered the kitchen.

Seeing my brother eating the pancakes, he noticed my presence and smiled at me. This seemed to only anger me more as I snapped at him.

"Gang huh?" I barked out.

I mean I know I promised Noah I wouldn't say anything to Jace, but I was too pissed off with not only Jace for not telling me but also at Noah for... well I guess telling me.

If anyone was to tell me this all-so-shocking-and-delightful-news it should have at least been my lying devil of a brother.

All of my brothers face suddenly was drained of colour as he very audibly gulped.

To be completely honest, if not for this extreme situation I would've laughed at his reaction but I knew now was definitely no time for laughter and jokes.

After a couple of seconds of being a ghost, all of his paleness was replaced with a bright red. He anomalistically growled and pushed past me as he began storming his was upstairs.

I was so lost and confused. I finally confront him and all he does is ignore me. I would've at least thought he would be angry at No-

Oh shit!

Just as I finally realised what was going on, I heard a loud bang followed by a groan.

I was too frozen on the spot to actually move but I could hear all the distant shouts and profanities being yelled upstairs.

I wouldn't be surprised if the neighbours called the police. Especially because of all death threats being thrown about.

"You bastard! You fucking told my little sister!"

"Well she asked me! You can't keep her in the shadows all the time Jace. Especially not now!"

And then all at once the shouts and screams stopped...

Only to be replaced with groans and thuds.

Were they fighting? Because of me?

I quickly found my feet, as I ran as fast as I could until I reached Noah's "room".

The sight of them fighting honestly scared me to death. I'd never seen them fight in my life. They were as close as flies are, to well, you know, poop.

I tried shouting for them to stop but it was useless as in response all I got was Jace being uppercutted and Noah gaining a bloody nose.

I realised I sounded like one of those pathetic girls from the movies yelling for her two lovers to stop fighting. Like no bitch!

I guess boys will be boys.

Even thought I know they are both in a gang, I also know that eventually they'll just get bored of beating the crap out of each other so I just stood there waiting and waiting.
