chapter 1

it had officialy been 4 months since the chunin preliminaries and my foster mother passed away.iv been pretty lonley ever since other then naruto coming to check up on me every once in awhile.everyone's been mostly training for the finals coming up within the next week.me?I didn't want to train nor do I think I even need it.I have the feeling my foster mothers spirit will guide me within the sword.I also know afew techniques to help in bad situations.she wasent really able to help me on that too much.since the last 4 months iv been visiting her grave and sometimes watching everyone prepare for finals.afew have asked me to train with them but I shook them off and walked around instead.iv actually been wondering outside the leaf village lately and I will sometimes see these people in black cloaks with red clouds.weird I have never seem them before in my life but 1 day I will follow them back.

~3 days before the finals~

it was about mid afternoon and I was sitting on the calconey of the apartment complex eating a rice cake and watching the busy street of konoha."heyy elize!what you been up too?"I turned around to see naruto walking towrds with me a big happy grin on his face and hands behind his head.he was wearing the same appearl as he usally did except his jacket hung loosly around his waist and wearing a black tee.he also looked all beat up.must be from the hard training."hi naruto.iv just been sitting here watching people.I see you have been training hard"I giggled as I took a bite of my rice cake."yup and I'm ready to go for the finals!!!" he stated as he held his fist out."fight me elize so I test how strong I am" I just looked at him."you sure?if you are lets go to the training grounds" "you better believe im ready!!!"he jumped off the balcony and began running for the training ground almost 2 mins away from our apartment building.I nodded and devoured my last bit of rice cake and followed.

"take your sword off first.that wouldn't be fair!" he yelled in protest.I did as he asked and got into position."ready?go!" of course naruto decided to charge head on first.typical typical naruto. i ativiated my byakugan and once naruto was close enough, i grabbed his fist and slamed my oppisite arm into his chest causing him to fall back. "how*pant*do*pant*know how to *pant*use byakugan?" naruto stampered to get to his feet. "When you know how to sneak around without getting caught" i smerked.I had broken into the hyuga clans house before just to learn the basic of their byakugan.Luckly i didnt get caught entering or leaving."I blocked 1 of you main charakra points,Now what do you wish to do?" naruto quickly regained back to his feet. "shadow clone jutsus!" narutos started to come out of no where, surrounding me. All at once every naruto came chasing after me.i had kicked, punched and throwen every clone till they were gone except for the real naruto which i quickly went after and started blocking each and every one of his charakra points.agaiin he was on the ground wincing in pain. "no more naruto.i have blocked all of your chakra points and i dont wish to hurt you anymore." i giggled and lended my hand out to him untill i noticed he poofed into thin air "what the?a shadow clone but how?" suddenly the ground beneath me started to crumble,naruto came shootting out of the ground like a guyser and hit me straight in the jaw causing me to lift off the ground with naruto and crash back done head first."you left your gaurd down elize!" naruto bosted."urgh.your right.i shouldnt have underestemaited you haha" i wipped the blood from my mouth and began to stand up.naruto held a hand out for me and i took it greatfully."good fight"naruto had a big goofy grin on his face.i just smiled back at him.Naruto is starting to become a better fighter i have to admit.he was also able to keep going even thou i blocked all of his chakra points."lets take a rest before trying to walk ok?"and with that both me and naruto plopped down where we stoud,naruto laying on his back and me sitting indian style.the sun was starting to set causing the sky to look orange and almost lifeless."you know naruto.youv come along way.form a obnoxious trouble maker to someone on their way to becoming hokage" "hey you sometimes joined in on it to so don't act all goody goody!" naruto protested.he's right I did join in on some of his little games but mostly it was just him."but thanks elize.i appreciate your acknowledgement hehehe"again naruto with that big goofy grin.I just smiled at him and turned my attention to the sky.we stayed their till the sky was almost completely dark and then decided to visit foster mothers grave.we eventually called it a day and headed off to our own rooms for a good nights rest
