chapter 4

~day of the finals~

I looked at myself in the mirror as I tied my hidden leaf village headband on my forehead.so today is the day were I may become a junini.this day came so quick.I turned my head from side to side making sure it looked alright.I then noticed my little fang stick out from my mouth.its funny I forgot all about it all this time.I looked at myself one last time before I turned to go get my sweet and sour sauce out of the microwave.I sat the small cup of sweet and sour sauce next to my freshly repared plate of fried rice,egg roll and chicken.looks so delicious!I grabbed a pair of chop sticks and began diging into my food like I haven't ate in days.once I was done I threw my empty plate and bowl in the sink to be washed later.I glanced at my clock to see it say 8:45.I still got some time to kill.I grabbed the newspaper I had on the chair and plopped on my bed.on the front of the page it was a picture of the hokage with afew other ninjas beside him.I smiled at seeing how happy they all looked.I started to flip throu the pages trying to find something interesting untill finally I saw a picture of some ninja from the sand village.it was a picture of some ninjas.all I could do was stair at their headbands.wait a minute why am I even going to the junine exams if I'm just gonna be leaving this place and becoming a hidden sand ninja?I mean I could do it now and get it done and over with instead of doing it next year but then naruto will never let me leave.I sat and pondered over it for awhile.if I regret this then what?hmmmm.I finally made up my mind.I threw the newspaper on my night stand and rumaged throu my bottom dresser drawer to find an old black drawstring bag that used to be my school bag .I began to gather up the little bit of clothing i had,toiletrys,snacks and filled my  waterbottle with a little black cat on it completely full.I stuffed everything in my bag and threw it over my sholders.I turned around and eyed my room, making sure i had everything i need and all valuables.im going to miss living here and having naruto as my annoyingly awesome neighbor.shut and locked my door for the last time.

"wow its almost completely empty.eveyone must be waitng for the finals to start."i said to myself i was making my way towards the konoha enterence.it almost seemed like konoha was a ghost town.only afew people were walking around.it was mainly the elderly who enjoyed to sit outside on a chair and   smell the fresh air.i looked ahead and saw i was nearing the enterence to konoha.there dosent seem to be any guards patroling around.this is wonderful!ill be able to leave without anyone asking me where im going."Elise where are you going?" I heard a familary voice ask me.i froze im my tracks as if i had been paralized.i turned around and saw kakashi leaving on a nearby tree reading for his usal book."uhhh...."i had no idea what to say to him.what should i say?what could i say without him trying to stop me?"are you leaving for suna now?"he asked so casually."how did u know?" "well you did tell us that one day you will be leaving for suna." kakashi didnt even look up from his book to answer me.crap that is right!i told them all at the very beginning that i will be leaving for suna at some point."dont worrie.its your choice weather or not to leave.fallow your dream just like the others are doing.im sure after today, everyone will be doing their own thing.who knows?maybe half of you will end up leaving the village as you did." kakashi actually looked at me to tell me this and he usally never does that.i felt a big smile form across my life at his words.by kakashi saying this to me i feel less guilty for leaving on such short of notice and without saying goodbye to my teammates."thank you kakashi sensei!could you please tell the others that im sorry for leaving so soon and that i said good luck?" i asked "yep,goodbye Elise.you were a good student."he waved and then poofed into thin air.with a confident heart i headed out toward the narrow grassy path that was ahead of me
