I barely had time to walk into school before being bombarded with questions about how my weekend was, did I sleep with anyone new, and "Oh, did you catch that new episode of Grey's Anatomy? They can never be professional and just do they're job!"

I strutted up to my locker only to stop in my tracks as I noticed Luke leaning up against it. I sighed. I had hope that that kiss wouldn't mean anything and I still clung onto the small sliver of it. I really liked Luke, but a real, monogamous relationship was never in the cards for me. I thought maybe our friendship could at least be with benefits. As long as we could keep feelings out of it.

"Hey, Nymph." He gave me a cool smile and I did the same.

"Sup, Huntzberger?" I nodded to my locker, clutching my books to my chest, "You're kinda in the way..."

His eyes widened as he hurriedly stepped away from my locker. He breathed in deeply before running his hand through his hair, "S-s-sorry. Soooo...I was wondering if maybe...possibly... perhaps-"

I rolled my eyes before sighing, "Just get on with it Luke." I wasn't looking as I said this, due to putting the books in my locker. I knew I was being rude but I was kind of in a hurry to get to my homeroom.

"Well, I was wondering if you were going to be busy tomorrow? After school? We could go and maybe do something?" He seemed to notice the look on my face because he rushed out, "It wouldn't be like a date or anything. Just hanging out."

"I can't tomorrow. Every Tuesday we have family dinners." I made quotation marks around the last two words. 'Family dinners' consisted of Margarite, our chef, concocting a brilliant meal which my mother hardly touches and all of us doing various things on our phones the whole time. His face falls. "But...," I contemplate my decision on whether hanging with him might give the wrong idea, I squeeze my eyes shut as I say, "I can do today after school if you're not busy."

He perks up at that. "I can do that."

I smile at the puppy. "Well then, 4:00; Dairy Queen. I'll meet you there. Don't be late," I say instantly without deliberation.

He smirks, the cool and collected façade now back with my acceptance. "I like a girl who knows what she wants." The first bell rings, dismissing us to class. "Bye, see you after school." I give him a close-mouthed smile and wave him goodbye, before closing my locker and heading to first period.

As I walked in I saw Bea, otherwise known as one of the best people that go to this stupid private school. She was wearing a low-cut yellow top that she probably already should've been dress-coded for. A matching headband was set in her brightly dyed red hair. She was obviously attempting to flirt with some new chick seated behind her, breasts pushed up against the girl's desk. When she caught me walking in, she said something real quick to her neighbor before turning to face the front toward me. She narrowed her eyes before exclaiming, "Hey, Bitch! Long time no see."

I scoffed, "We just saw each other Friday."

"Well we never even texted this weekend. What's up with that? You've been hoeing haven't you?" She questioned suspiciously.

"Oh, baby you know they're just my side chicks," I said jokingly.

Bea laughed, "No, but really, who have you been doing this weekend? Are there multiple ones?" She leaned forward interestedly. Bea and I told each other just about everything-including my many, many conquests.
