What did you say?

Shaders' POV

I ran back to the mansion and I walked inside. Masky was still on the couch waiting for me. He's so protective over me... It's kind of weird...

"Sup Masky..." I sat down next to him.

"Where were you? What did you do? Who was there?" He said unbelievably fast and nervous.

"Some where. None of your business. Me and only me." I laughed slightly.

"Fine... I'll take it." He said serious.

"Why are you so damn protective over me?" My lips moved without permission... I guess I was dying to ask.

He stared at me shocked for awhile. Then I saw it underneath his mask. He was mad... What have I done?

"I'm sorry Shaders I just care about you that's all!" He raised his voice... He wasn't happy at all.

"Well, well, WHY? WHY DO YOU EVEN GIVE A DAMN ABOUT ME?!" I realized I was yelling, I was mad too.

"BECAUSE I JUST DO GOD DAMMIT!!"

"WHY?!" I screamed back.

"I'M JUST WORRIED ABOUT YOU!!" He turned around and put his head back in stress.

I walked in front of him, "WHY? YOU KNOW I CAN TAKE CARE OF MY SELF!! I'M NOT A LITTLE KID, MASKY!!!"

"BECAUSE I LOVE YOU!" His eyes widened but not nearly the size of mine. 

I could tell he didn't mean to say that.... Did he really mean it? Or did he say it to shoo me off... I love the proxies, and two others.... I know I have problems... I swear Dr.Smiley injected something into me through a shot that made me love people.... I don't know...

Maybe I was just flattering myself, "Wh-What did you say?" 

"I-I-I'm sorry.. I uh didn't mean to say that. You know what just forget it uh.... I'll stop uh bothering you..." He headed off to his room.

"Masky! Wait!" It was too late... I put my hands on my head then felt something wet. I was crying? Why? Is it because one of my best friends mad, or the fact that I love Masky and I just had a chance with him and I blew it? I don't know.... I realized I started to cry more... I can't risk being seen like this... I have to go to my room....

So I did.

Toby's POV

I was walking to the mansion after a bloody kill. Masky said he was going to wait for Shade. I walked close when I saw Shaders and Masky on the couch together. I saw Masky get mad. Why? I couldn't hear anything but I could see. I hid behind a tree close to the window and watched. 

They stood up. He yelled at her?! What the hell was that bastard thinking yelling to Shaders?! She yelled back.... Oh no.... They're fighting. Masky said something... Masky said something both of their eyes widened and it was silent for awhile until Shaders spoke up. She said something and Masky did next, then left. Shade tried to get him to come back but he didn't. She started to cry. What could Masky have told Shaders that made her cry? I was gonna help her...

I walked in, "Shaders..." I said, but no one was there.

I ran to her room. I pressed my ear against the door. She was crying still..... What in the living hell did Masky do?! Whatever he did I'll make sure it was the last thing he did.

Masky's POV

What did I just do?! I just confessed! WHY?! Why am I so God damn stupid? It seemed to get really hot in my room so I took off my jacket, leaving me in my black t-shirt.

I was pacing in my room.... I knew she called me... I couldn't face her.... I just couldn't.... Why did I yell at her? I was the one who started with the volume. I should have just said I get worried and played it off..... Why did I have to get all defensive? Then I heard my door fly open...

Wait..... I locked the door. What?

I turned around and saw.... Toby. Why was he in here?! He broke my door knob! What tha?

"What did you do to Shade you bastard?!" Toby had his hatchet against my throat.... My weapon was out of my reach....

"Nothing!!" I lied.

"I saw through the window c-coming home and I heard her cry from her room! I WON'T REPEAT AGAIN! WHAT. DID. YOU. DO. TIMOTHY..." Toby's hatchet got closer to my throat. 

"We just had a fight that's all!!" I lied, again.

"Shade doesn't cry about anything.... Whatever you said.... Made her cry... A lot." Toby backed up but still was on guard. 

Wait. Shade cried? I mean sure I yelled at her. But, why would she cry?

"Toby, just stay out of this. Please."  said.

"Fine Masky. But if I get Shade to talk to me and she says that you did something to her, you better start digging your grave... Got me?!" He was ready to kill me now.... I should agree.... I hope Shade doesn't get me killed.... I seriously made her cry? I just nodded in response.

Toby's POV

I went to Shade's door. I knocked....

"H-Hey, Shade?" I said quietly.

"Wh-What?" She had been crying a lot. I was going to slit Masky's throat...

"It's me Toby.... Please let me in," no response. "Please?" I heard a lock being fiddled with.

Her door opened. She went back to her bed and dug her face in her black Get Scared pillow. 

"Hey! Shaders! What's wrong? What did he say to you?" I ran beside her and sat down on her bed and got her to sit up. Her eyes were red and she was still crying. I WAS GOING TO MAKE MASKY SUFFER!

She tried to say something but she couldn't stop crying.... I better help her... 

I went to the kitchen and got a glass.. I was gonna give her water, but she hates the stuff, so I got her a soda instead and I head back in to her room. She was laid down again. Crying. Ugh... What on Earth could Masky have said that made her cry this much? For a girl who doesn't drink water, she sure has the waterworks.

"H-Hey," I handed her the soda as she sat up.

She drank it and finally stopped crying. 

"Now... What did that bastard say?" She could talk but she hiccuped every now and then.

"He hiccup yelled at me, after just a stupid question I asked... Th-then hic he said he loved me... Up"

He what?! When me and the proxies, Jeff, and Liu said told each other we liked Shade we all said we don't confess to her and try to steal her from anyone else... I know it's weird but we're killers... We were gonna kill each other over her probably... If we didn't make a compromise. But, Masky, said he loved Shade. That's it! I'm probably gonna kill him. 

"Shade..." I hugged her. She started to cry again.... Poor Shade...
