Wesley's POV~

"Who was at the door?" My brother's voice called out after I shut the door. My heart was racing  so fast I swear I was about to have a heart attack. I couldn't breathe.

She was engaged?!

I shook away the thoughts and headed into the living room where Keaton was sitting on the couch with Drew playing Call of Duty. Drew was winning, score wise, but Keaton hadn't died yet on the game which should be worth a lot.

"So who was it Wes?" Keaton asked again as he shot one of the online opponents in the head.

"Oh..uh, no one" I mumbled as I headed up to my room needing the alone time. After Ashley moved I was devastated and it was the motivation from the fans that helped me through it. They of course didn't know about Ashley, but their love for the music Emblem3 produced was motivation enough for me to pull through. After about six months I had gotten over her, or so I thought. Maybe my feeling just went dormant.

With a sigh I laid down on my bed staring up at the ceiling wondering why this would effect me so much. I should be happy she moved on and was starting a family now. I'd moved on, hadn't I?

I pulled out my phone and sent out a tweet I knew nobody would understand.

"I just don't fucking know anymore"

Within seconds fans were retweeting, commenting, and liking the tweet. There were the fans who asked if everything was alright. I admired those fans, they cared about my well-being. Then there were fans who related without actually relating to the tweet since they had no idea what was going on. There were the 'follow me' fans. The haters who say I deserve everything that was hurting me, those I tried to ignore. And then there were the ones who tried to cheer me up.

Instead of replying to the clueless fans I turned my phone off and rolled over onto my side so I could stare out the window. Drew must have saw my tweet because next thing I know he's in my room with a worried look on his face.

"Everything alright?" Drew asked cautiously, not knowing what was going on. I'm not even sure if he actually wanted to know what was going on. I think he just wanted to make sure everything was alright with me. Everything wasn't alright though. I was confused, hurt, and had a fluster of emotions I didn't know how to handle.

"I'm fine." The typical answer everyone gives when they don't want to share what's on their mind. Or they just don't want to bother the person who asked. Mine was a mixture of both.

Drew left the room, probably not really knowing what to say. I was surprised. Typically, he had at least some type of life message or rejuvenating advice. I was genuinely surprised.

I guess I'm stuck here to all my thoughts and feelings. Great. Just Great.

Ashley's POV~

It was almost three days since I'd seen Wesley in the flesh and ever since then things have been different. Caleb didn't seem to notice my uneasiness though. He did get a sense that something was wrong though. So he planned a fun-filled day for the both of us today, but he wouldn't tell me a thing which frustrated me.

As I laid in our king-sized bed I rolled over half expecting to fall on Caleb's chest. I awoke to no Caleb. He must have awoken early and went off somewhere. I sprawled out taking up the entirety of the bed when I caught the smell of maple apple bacon. A smirk came to my face when he emerged back into the room with a plate full of all my favorite breakfast foods.

"Morning beautiful" Why was he so perfect? A smile came to my face as I sat up on the bed taking the plate of food. He sat next to me kissing my cheek down to my jawline.

"Caleb, this is amazing! You're amazing!" I stated kissing him sweetly on his tender lips.

"Eat up, we have a big day ahead of us" He stated kissing me again on the cheek and retreated back to the kitchen, probably to get himself a plate of food. I glanced down at the delicious looking plater. Bacon, scrambled eggs, lightly toasted toast with melted butter on it, and a single pancake with a strawberry smiley face on it. This was the perfect breakfast, in my dictionary. Caleb was such a romantic and yet I was still hung up on Wesley.

I finished the breakfast Caleb so perfectly made me and I got out of bed figuring I'd find out what my fiance was up to. He was making more bacon even though I for one was stuffed.

"Want some more?" He asked seeing that I was up and moving around. I shook my head 'no' and placed my empty plate in the sink. He laid the rest of the bacon on a plate and turned the stove burner off.

"So where we going today?" I asked with a grin on my face as I hugged Caleb from behind. I didn't have to see his face to know he had a smirk on his face. Gently he spun around holding me in his arms and kissed my forehead.

"I know how much you enjoyed surfing when we first met so I thought we could go to the beach. I talked to your friend, Willow and I've arranged a nice little picnic, too" Even though it sounded like a perfect date I couldn't help, but think of Wesley again. I hated myself more and more every time old memories appeared. I loved Caleb and I was about to start a life with him. There was no time for second guessing.

"Sounds perfect!" I forced a grin hoping Caleb wouldn't see through it. Luckily he didn't. Why was I so caught up on Wesley? A life with Wesley would be unpredictable and spontaneous. However, a life with Caleb is safe and perfect.
