Running

We arrived at the house and I asked Calum to come with us.

"Why? I don't even know him. Where would we be going?" he asked.

"I need you to be there. I have to go to court. So does he." I lied.

It started pouring. I bite my lip. He chuckled and nodded. I grabbed his hand and we ran to his car. Billy started driving. I was in the back with Cal trying to explain everything.

"So you were born a vampire?" he asked holding his head.

"No. My mom was but when she realized I wasn't, she bit me. She wanted someone to learn what she had learned over the years." I explained for the fifth time.

I moved his hands away from his head. I put my hands on his head and within a second I felt the pain he had felt.

"What just happened?" he asked.

"I took your pain." I said.

He grabbed my hand and kissed it. The pain started to subside. He kissed my head and I felt like there was no pain at all. I smiled and when to kiss him but I looked at Billy. He nodded. I smashed my cold lips against Calum's warm ones. Our lips moved in sync. I felt sparks rushing through my whole body. I didn't want it to end. But he pulled away. I forgot he had to breathe. I smiled and cuddled close to him. He closed his eyes.

"You do know that when I wake up tomorrow, I'm gonna freak out about all this right?" he asked smiling.

"I'm prepared for that. When I took your pain, I also made it so that you wouldn't freak out. I made it so you would understand." I said.

"Oh."

Was all he said before falling asleep. I got in the front and kissed Billy's cheek.

"Thank you for being so understanding." I said before dozing off into a deep dark nightmare.
