Bellamy's POV

Today's the 1st day of my 2nd year at this shithole place. The first week is always the best, there's no classes but there's parties every night. My best friend Nathan Miller (we call him Miller) is throwing a dorm party. One good thing about this dumbass building is that the rooms are a decent size, at least big enough to hold most of the people in our block.

Miller, Monty, Jasper and Murphy came to my room for a few drinks before the party started.
"So Bellamy, have you elected a fresh victim yet?" Jasper asked and took a swig of his beer, and cringed.
"It's only the first day, calm down" Bellamy laughed.
"I'm surprised he hasn't hacked the office computers to look at the applications" Monty offered. Bellamy considered it then shrugged.
"Nah, I can't even figure out how to connect the Internet to my stupid laptop." Bellamy said while making his way to get his laptop.
"Monty, do you think you could pull up the applications here?" Bellamy asked plotting the laptop on the coffee table.
"Yeah, piece of cake. Gimme 5 minutes." Monty replied and dragged the laptop into his reach.

10 minutes later

"All done!" Monty said with a smile of achievement. "They have photos this year, Bellamy look."
Bellamy made his way to Monty and squinted his eyes at the screen.
"She looks good" Bellamy said pointing to a blonde, blue-eyed girl. She stood out against the common campus girl, you know, all the make-up in preparation for parties, a little too much cleavage to be classy, bright red lips and messy hair, she was natural but beautiful. Her piercing blue eyes stood out against her golden loose hair. She had fair skin and a perfect smile.

"Clarke Griffen" Monty announced proudly.
"What's that look for?" Bellamy asked Monty, a little confused.
"She was a good friend of mine in primary school" Monty grinned stupidly at him.
"Well I suppose you don't mind introducing me to her then."
"Not at all" Monty stood up, placing the laptop on the coffee table. "Let's go downstairs, we can get her room number" Monty said making his way out of the door.
Bellamy, Jasper and Miller followed, Murphy
stayed behind, he was extremely sick from a night of heavy drinking and grinding with random girls. He was the second best partier Bellamy has met. The very best was Bellamy himself, girls stuck to him like a bad smell. But of course Bellamy never smelt bad, like ever. He could also bounce back from a night of insane drinking simply with a warm shower and a good night sleep.

Downstairs, there was a group of 1st years that looked a bit immature and excited for Bellamy's appeal.
"Bellamy, she's over there" Monty exclaimed excitedly while pointing wildly at a blonde, who looked to be about 5.4. She was dressed in a pair of simple jeans and a singlet top that complemented her curves impeccably.

I spotted 'that girl' as soon as Monty said she was here. She looked perfect in her simple outfit, she was struggling with her bag or something, I couldn't see her face but I could tell she was going to be beautiful.
Being the gentleman I am, I went over to give her a hand. What better way to win a girls' heart other than helping them with something they clearly need help with.
Jeezus I'm pretty bad at winning girl's hearts. They usually come to me for a one night fling, I've never really tried to talk to a girl, other than my sister of course. I had to raise her after our mother died while giving birth to her.
Anyways, you're probably wondering why I want a relationship with 'talking' included, instead of the usual one-night-stand. I've known for a while now that I can't got throughout my life having one-night-stands left and right. That I'd have to settle down at some point, and my view on settling down includes the love of my life and possibly kids.
Obviously this 'Clarke' girl is not the love of my life, but I just want some practice at being nice and caring and shit.

Bellamy makes his way over to the struggling blonde to offer help. He is now only inches away from her, and Clarke is completely oblivious to the fact that there's an awaiting stranger right behind her. Just as he's about to but into her war with the duffle bag, Clarke's arm comes flying behind her and Bellamy's quick reflexes allowed him to catch her arm before it hit him in the face.
