So this contains a bit of spoilers for this game, that I finally got.
So I did move through the game fairly well. Not looking much at the wiki, taking everything from the guide npc who was there from the start. Ended up just having him in my main house so I'd know what to do next.
As I defeated skeletron and took my trip down to the underworld, i.e hell. I slowly but surely farmed hellstone ore. I died three times to lava, but eventually I got enough resources to be searching for the supplies to summoning the "keeper of the underworld". I eventually killed the voodoo demon on accident and just picked up the drops.
I within a minute realized, I was going to have to sacrifice the guide. Who was the first npc I saw in my world, the one that helped me the most, and the only npc I had at the time that wasn't a bitch during blood moon. It was heartbreaking realizing I'd have to fucking sacrifice the guide. Just to continue into hardmode. When I finally did it and the guides name popped in the bottom left corner saying he was slain as the now what I realized wall of flesh spawned fucked with me alot. Don't judge me ;-;
