Last week was a bit of a disappointment, as it had only one entrant. However, I thoroughly enjoyed Phooka's story "Strange Science," and I hope that we get more entries this week.
Week Two is imminent!
Rules:
1. Pick three or more of the following words and cleverly incorporate them: hazelnut, mystified, cuttlefish, lark, lurk, Robert, Anglican, pheromone, halter top, marmalade, hardware, laser, pepper, lease, kneecap, falafel, period, chase, chaste, leggings, wool, sweater, heartbeat. (WTNV fans may recognize this list.)
2. Like last week, write the words at the top so I can find them.
3. Somehow relate the story to "Demons" by Imagine Dragons. There's a video in the sidebar.
4. When titling your story, refrain from using the letters C, E, L, M, N, R, S, or Y.
5. When you're done, post a link in the comments along with a pitch written like you're entering a tribute in the Hunger Games.
