***Clara POV***

I walked out of the bedroom and headed towards the kitchen. Before I could start my way down the stairs, I heard a voice down stairs.

"What are we going to do with the Luna?" The voice questioned. I dared not to move, listening as I hear a long sigh. "I don't know, we have to kill her then find Noreen." Another voice, sounding a lot Greyson chimed in.

It was morning, I couldn't believe my ears. Last night Greyson and I shared such an intimate kiss and now he wants to kill me? What is going on?

I stepped forward a bit to see if I could better hear the conversation. "Well, we can talk about this later". With my step, the floor creaked, the voices stopped, and the house went quiet.

"Wait. Did you hear that?" The first voice questioned.

Just as I was about to run back to the bedroom, my body froze. Greyson and Sam were standing at the bottom of the stairs staring up at me. Curse werewolf hearing and speed.

"She knows." Sam accused. "She was listening to us the whole time."

Greyson slowly started to climb the stairs, his expression changed from annoyed to caring. "No, not my little Luna." He cooed. I was questioning his all of a sudden change in attitude.

I didn't know what to say, I stood their dumbfounded. "I... um... was just coming down for a cup of tea." I tried to explain. I slowly took a step back, then another one.

"Tsk, Tsk, little Luna. You should have made your presence known." Greyson mocked standing right in front of me, working his way towards me. "Come and give me a hug." He demanded.

In a second, Sam was standing right behind him. "It sucks being the beta sometimes." He sighed.

I swallowed hard, whats the worst that could happen? I thought to myself. Just as he wrapped his arms around me, he flipped me around so my back was pressed against his chest.

"Bye little Luna." He purred, twisting my neck with his hands. Before everything went black, I heard a snap and saw a flash of regret in Sam's eyes.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I shot up into a sitting position, and looked around the room. It was still dark outside and I was in fact sweating. With a racing heart, I turned to look at the sleeping boy next to me.

"It was only a dream." I breathed. I laid back down and pulled the covers up around me. Before I drifted back to sleep, I felt Greyson snake his arms around me and pull me close.

*** Greyson POV ***

I woke up in panic, I had a dream I was chocking. The reality of it however, was that I just had Clara's hair in my face and it must have went in my mouth. What a great way to start my morning.

I unwrapped my arms from around Clara's waist and sat up. She looked so peaceful sleeping, her beautiful brown hair all around her, and her pale slender arms; one wrapped under her head and the other on top of her rising and falling chest. Standing up and stretching, I made my way to the kitchen.

"Grey, we have to head home." Sam informs me as I enter the kitchen. "While you were asleep we received a call from the warriors, we have some issues to attend to."

All I wanted was a damn cup of coffee, oh well. I turn away from the kitchen and make my way back upstairs. "I'll go wake up Clara, get Evelyn ready." I command.

I slowly walk into the bedroom to see Clara still sleeping. "Wake up beautiful." I whisper, taking a seat next to her sleeping body and begin to stroke her hair.

She stirs for only a moment and opens her eyes slowly. "hmmm.... why?" she asks stretching out.

"We have to go back home today, I'm sorry we have to cut this short." I really didn't like the fact that we had to leave. I loved being here with her and sleeping in the same room.

"Oh okay, let me take a shower and get dressed. Then we can go." She said then made her way to the bathroom.

Once she went into the bathroom and closed the door, I packed up the rest of our things and brought it out to the car.

"Is everyone ready to go?" Sam asked, throwing Greyson the keys to lock the door of the beach house.

We all nodded our heads and moved to the two vehicles, Clara and I taking her car while Sam and Evelyn took mine. Our plan was to meet up at the pack house and ask the girls to let their apartment lease go and come live with us.

"Come on Greyson, let me change the damn station!" Clara wined. I preferred to keep it on the country station, it was a back-to-back play of Chase Rice and he is one of my favorites. Clara on the other hand, kept switching it to pop.

"No. I like this station." I growled slamming down the button on the stereo.

She scoffed and looked out the window. "You need to control your anger, you might break my radio."

"And you need to watch the way you speak to me." I snapped, gripping the steering wheel so tight my knuckles were white.

"Yeah, okay as if you can tell me what to do." she snapped back. Man, does this girl have an attitude.

The rest of the ride was quiet, no more arguing. It was past mid day and we were an hour away from home.

"This trip was fun." I stated, trying to make conversation.

"Yeah, I wish we didn't have to leave after one week." She sighed.

"I am sorry, business came up." I replied, turning to take a quick look at my beautiful mate.

"Watch out!" Clara screamed. I looked over to see a car swerving towards us.

"Shit!" I screamed turned the wheel, jerking the car to the side which made it roll. All I heard was screams and a crash, then everything went black.
