"Oh McKenzie, I can't do that "
I tell my best friend who's sitting in front of me, trying to convince me that it would be best if I went.
" I wonder what he wants? After so many years..."
I start sobbing. Oh! Why now?!
"Carrie... I think you should forgive and forget and try again!".
"Kenya, I love you, but I just can't see how that's gonna work".
I blow my nose, roll up in a ball under a blanket on her couch.
"Ya, I know. Its a tough thing to do but maybe that would help you get over your feelings for him.
You know what kind of man he is, but you can't change that no matter how hard you try.
Your never gonna be able to fix him, all you can do for him is love him and respect him".
I get up and give her a hug.
"Thanks sis, your the best."
"So your going?"
"I guess"
"Yes! Your gonna let me do your hair and makeup right?"
"Fine" I give her a grin.
Still the same McKenzie I've known for years.
She heads over to the freezer, grabs two spoons and a tub of ice cream.

Another short chapter, ya I guess you can't really expect me to write like, 20 pages full for just one chapter. Nah, I prefer a lot of short chapters. I hope that don't bother you.
And an other thing, my writing skills are not so great so please don't expect more of me cuz this is my first book. Action happening soon! Not like those extremely long books that take forever to get to the point.( no offence to long-book-writers). Seeya!✌
