We waited for the storm to fall back. We were 4 months behind schedule and by now it wold take me until next years winter but since I have Winston and Ana well  it would take another year to get to Yuki's. Which means I'll be 17 and that's the age I can extend my claws out on my fingers. Like every year something grows. Like when your first born you just have a birthmark. Then when you become 3 you get ears, 7 you get a tail and 10 you get to shift that's when Alfred showed me off to guests. Now in two years I get my retractable claws. So now we are off again. It's March the 20th and we are working on getting out of this snow cone death trap. We dig for what seems like hours. We each get our own tunnels. Ana shifts into a badger and obviously gets there first. I get there at the same time Winston does and we finally are able to leave the dark cave. No more snow until another 9 months. We traveled silently for a few minutes till Ana broke the silence.

"So what's the next town?" She asked me,

"Blue Riverton and since Alfred's guards are still looking if we are lucky we get to sleep in beds in the next town,"

"Yay!!!!" Winston and Ana in unison.

We hunted and walked until we had to rest.

Ana fell asleep as soon as we made the pine needle beds, Winston and I skinned and cured the rabbits. And we spoke about things.

"So what are you going to do when you get to Yuki's castle?" Winston asked me

"I guess I'll live with Yuki or live in the town,"

"Oh ok,"

"What about you are you gonna stick around?"

"Yea probably I mean if you er.... Ummm...... I guess so?"

"Hey don't worry I'm not gonna live the high life and forget about you ok?"

"That's the most thoughtful thing anyone's ever said to me," He turned his head and his face melted my heart. I felt heat rush into my cheeks as I stared at his light blue eyes, his pure white hair and the rosiness of his cheeks. I almost thought I would cry. I just gave him a hug and he broke down.

"Thank you..." He whispered as he pulled away and brushed his tears of his cheeks.

"Hey it's ok,"

"Goodnight Whist,"

"Goodnight Winston,"
