White Wolf

Well now this is going to be awkward...

I wake up and find Winston awake surprisingly.He was just about to start a fire to make breakfast.
"Good morning,"
"Hey," he says
"What are we eating?"
"Rabbit, oh and by the way I found some wild chicken eggs so I'm gonna save them to throw at Alfred if he finds us,"
I laugh for the first time in my life,not even kidding, and I'm surprised when I hear it. It feels nice.
"Ha ha sorry that was my first time laughing in my life,"
"Then we need to make it special," he shifts into a wolf and says,"Come on,"
I shift as well and I follow him.  he leads me to the top of a big hill that it passes the trees. And at the top I see a warm colored rainbow with a rising sun.
"Wow," We shift back into humans and can only stare at the sunset.For a few minutes we are quiet before Winston says something.
"We probably should head back before Ana thinks we left her,"
"Yea we should,"
He takes a small step closer, close enough that I can feel his soft,warm breaths.Then he shifts into a wolf again and I follow suit. Then he does something I didn't expect he would do.  He licks my furry cheek.Then he takes off towards camp.
Well now this is going to be awkward but that was sweet, I think to myself
