Hello! Now your probably here because you either like history,WWII, or just giant weapons of mast destruction! I'm writing this book because I think most people don't really think that the Germans were that powerful because you think "Pshhh the Germans couldn't have been that powerful if America destroyed them in one full swoop!" Now your probably right but the real only reason is because they didn't have enough manpower and fuel to make their super weapons like the Landkreuzer P.1000 Ratte or into English the land battleship. Now this beast was not built but was a experimental tank but was later discontinued because I mean how would a 1000 ton tank get across rivers with completely destroying a bridge or having to go around city's because roads weren't wide enough. Now the biggest problem was that because of its sheer size it was a large target for the allied bombers and fighters to easily bomb the top of the behemoth and penetrate the top killing all crew are disabling the tank rendering it useless. Now let's get to the good part, the armaments, now because of the sheer size of the tank they could literally put a battleship cannon on the top of the tank. The main gun was 280 mm which is just beyond overkill being able to destroying anything from bunkers to battleships. Now why have a giant ship without some defense? On the top back of the tank it had two Maus cannons which I haven't explained what the Maus is but I will get to that later but the cannons were 128 mm which still could destroy any tank that crossed its line of sights. For anti air capability the tank had 4 flak 38 anti aircraft guns which would just shred any plane that decides to "try's" to destroy this beautiful mobile fortress. Now your probably wondering can it be destroyed? Well let's just say I don't think you can penetrate 9 inches of hardened steel without using similar weapons which were only found on battleships. This concludes my first Nazi super weapon next we will be talking about its smaller cousin the Maus but the next one will be much smaller than this one.
