chp 8 THOUGHTS ARE NEVER READY TO LEAVE.

chp 8 Thoughts are never ready to leave .

I got up the next morning and my head was a home for several baby elephants. Maybe because I stayed up late. As soon as I turned around I did not find neal. I checked in the bathroom and it was empty. He might have gone by now, I thought to my self. I went for a bath, brushed my teeth, added up some normal makeup, curled my hair down. I wore my denim shorts with my yellow tank top and went down stairs for breakfast.

" holy crap ! will you kill me now ?" I yelled.

I saw Neal chatting with my parents and was eating lovely pancakes made by my ma.

"morning may" Neal said and I gave him a strange look. I hugged dad and kissed ma on her cheek.

"Morning dad & ma "

" morning bee "

" what are you doing here ? " I asked Neal.

" bee he joined us this morning " ma said

I sighed a relief . I was wondering what if he would have walked down from my room. Thank goodness he had some brains.

" so are you done with your packing bee ? " ma asked as she served me my coffee

" packing ?" Neal asked

" I'm going to Paris for a weak before my finals start " I said

" we all need a break " dad laughed

I felt as if Neal was not happy after knowing that I was going to Paris. But then again I have to stop myself. It is nothing like what I'm thinking about.

" I'll do it ma " I said

" I'll take your leave Mr & Mrs Robinson" Neal said and got up .

" bye dear " dad replied

he waved at me and then went away.

soon after that I went up stairs and got my suitcase out I piled up some clothes on my bed. I got out some woollens and cardigans. Now all I had to do is pack those things systematically.

After an hour I was done with my packing and was starting to complete my Collage's. I had already made cut outs so my work was easier. This one was tough because it was a lion's face with all the shades in all the colours. I started with the head giving it all the shades of green. Coming down to my forehead I started with all shades of red. Till this time my phone buzzed and it was max who texted me.

( come out I'm waiting )

I soon changed into my blue jeans and wore my black sweatshirt. Tied my hair into a messy bun and touched up my make up. Took my phone and went down stairs.

" ma I'm done with my packing and max is out so I'm going with him and will be back by an hour , love you "

" come soon bee don't make us wait for dinner " ma said

I went out and closed the door behind him and hugged max.

" I've got a lot to tell you " he said and sounded tensed

" I'm worried about me and Ashley "

" what happened now ? "

Ashley and max are dating from last two years. She is good at heart but I and Ashely don't go well together. But whenever max needs me with her I'm always there for him. He really loves ash. Max has a different attitude towards life. He loves only one girl that is obviously ash but he cannot stop being a play boy. He would not cheat ash but cannot stop flirting with girls and ash approves of it and not only that but she loves him because of this.

He gave me a strange look and did not say anything.

" is it raj again ? " I asked and he sighed .

" did you talk to her ? "

" you know things are not good from last 3 months and more over that she seems to be interested in him now. "

" calm down maxi "

" tell me what to do bee i really love her and I don't know where are we going right now "

" text her that you both need to talk "

" with that work ? "

" yes "

He sent the message and a immediate reply came from ash. " yes we do ". It scared him even more. Raj was a guy who recently shifted next to ash and somehow they became good friends. Raj had confessed that he liked ash. They even kissed once but max ignored it as ash said she stopped it as soon as possible and did not take it further.

" let's have ice cream " I said

we reached the ice cream parlour and had our favorite's. He had almond and I had choco chip. We came back home while walking through the road.

" Everything will be okay max don't worry and call me if you need to talk"

" I will and have a safe journey. Fill me up when you are back "

" heya "
It was Neal.

" hi " I said and max hugged him
" when are you going ? " he asked

" tomorrow morning "

" well this is for you " he handed me a safe journey card. I was shocked !

" you did not have to do that "

" I know " he said and hugged me when my hands were still straight holding his card and my ice cream cup and he turned and went away.

" strange" I said

" bye bee take care and text me once your flight lands " max said and hugged me before pecking a kiss on my cheek.

" bye maxi and don't stress " I hugged him as well.

I went back home and got cleaned up before dinner. It was almost 11 when I completed my lion collage. Now the count was 4 to go. I was some what relieved with it. I still could not stop thinking about Neal where what happened today joined in. He was acting weird today and what was up with the card I wonder. I switched off my lamp and set an alarm for 6 in the morning as we had a flight to catch at 8. I got under my quilt and went to sleep.

Note : There are many thoughts in maya's head and I guess she will figure it out soon .The card looked something like the picture up there. !!
