chp 19 HELL OF A WORK IN THE BEST COMPANY

I woke up at 8 30 and as usual I was running late. I got ready and called Neal for like 50 times but he did not pick up.
I went downstairs to have my breakfast and there he was. Laughing and giggling with Sara and my ma.

" where the hell is your phone ? " I asked Neal

" in my car " he said

" ugghhh Neal "

" baby girl don't ugghh me your late "

He said and I gave him the evilest look I had.

I had my breakfast and we started for the engagement preparation shopping. The engagement was going to take place at my house. It was going to be a small function. We started with the flowers. We took thousands of white Lilly's. We took satin net ribbons. We took wine bottles. Glasses and plates.
We also had to shop for the wedding. Wedding invitation were going to be in a basket with a wine bottle some sweets and then the card. We gave orders for our cards. They were white and elegant. The basket was going to be black. We had our lunch outside.
It was almost 9 at night when we came back home. Neal was gonna stay here and help me decorate the place.
We had our dinner and were chilling on the sofa. We started with ribbon work. I was standing on a stool fixing up the ribbon. Nah nah ! No filmy drama happened with me. But yes Neal was trying to act all filmy ! He was shaking me so that I can fall and get fractured.

" stop doing that Neal "

" Maya for once please fall into my arms"

" oh please I would prefer falling on the floor and getting fractured"

" oh really " he asked and started laughing

" oh yes " I said and he picked me up
" put me down jerk " I said

" oh no " he said and started laughing again.

" put me down Neal " I said again and he being a jerk really dropped me down on the floor

" happy ? " he asked

" run for your life Neal " I said and got up. We were running throughout the house and we destroyed everything that we had done till now. It was 3 in the morning and I was draped with ribbon and Neal was fully covered with white flowers. We could not stop laughing. We got cleared the mess that we had created and then I made coffee for me and Neal. We had to start all over again. Within 2 hours we had completed our work and now it was the time for the roof lightings. We took the lights and reached the roof. I was fixing up the light where I slipped down the roof. For a second I thought I'm really gonna get fractured but then Neal had caught my hand.

" Maya come up " he said

" pull me up neal " I said

" don't worry I won't let anything
happen to you "
he said and he pulled me up. As soon as I got up he hugged me tightly.

" are you okay ? " he asked

" yeaa " I said. The look on his face was horrifying. I had never seen this look on Neal's face.

" look at you " I said and started laughing .

" yeaa right " he said in an sarcastic manner .

" what happened ? " I asked

" nothing " he said

" Neal " I said

" what if I would have lost you ? " he said and left me speechless. I got up and went downstairs ! I had tears in my eyes and I could have bursted out at any moment from now. I did not want Neal to look at me like this and thus I rushed to my room and locked it. Why was he so worried about me ? At that moment i would have kissed him. He was worried about the fact that he would have lost me ? I was shocked. All these things were making me confused. At first phase he does not care about me and acts like a jerk and the second phase he does not want to loose me. Things were getting out of control for me.
" open the door Maya" it was Neal. I opened the door and I had to act as if nothing happened.

It was now 6 in the morning and almost everything was done.

" I'll leave now " Neal said and started walking towards the door. I wanted to stop him. I didn't know it was right or wrong but then I wanted his company. Should I say it? Or should I not ? Confused confused confused

" stop " i said

" thank god you said it ! I was too lazy to go...I love you may' " he said hugged me gave a kiss on my cheek and went to my room. I was standing there like a statue of ice. I did not know what was happening. It was like an adrenaline rush. After almost 15 mins I went to my room. I saw Neal had already slept ! I changed and got under my quilt. I switched my lights off and went to sleep. Neal wrapped his hand around my waist and we cuddled up.

" aren't you asleep ? " I asked

" ummm " he groaned like a small baby and went to sleep.

Where Neal was sleeping peacefully ! I was awake ! Thinking of what the hell was wrong with me ! I was sure about this ! One more good thing from Neal's side and I'm gonna fall. I had to talk to ailes about this ! Maybe she could help me.
