Leeroy Payne was fed up. All he wanted to do in the past hour was be with Niall his new student, because he fascinated him. But every time he tried to get near Niall, Elisa called him over. Leeroy had never took a liking to Elisa because of how stuck up she was and awful to everyone. Leeroy was sure he would snap soon if she made another rude comment about his newest member, Niall. There was something about Niall that made Leeroy prone to protect him. Strange.
Currently, Leeroy was sat on the bench watching his class dance to Kiss Me by Ed Sheeran again. Niall wasn't dancing, though. He was sat in the corner, just mumbling the words and tapping his foot to the beat. His cheeks were flaming a deep pink colour, and Leeroy couldn't help but just stare.
"Sir!" Leeroy was snapped from his daydream by a squealing from Elisa. Again. "Look at me! I'm dancing! Am I good?!"
Leeroy huffed and nodded before giving her a thumbs up. He was sick of this girl. Why was he so incredibly unlucky to have such a snobby cheerleading-type girl? He wished more of his students were more like Niall. Niall seemed so perfect, though they'd only talked a few times. Leeroy didn't know what'd happened inside his heart, but it always beat faster when he was near Niall.
"You... uh, you look bored," Niall murmured. Leeroy snapped his head towards the blonde boy, and smiled at him.
"A little," Leeroy admitted, patting the seat next to him for Niall to come sit down. "But can you blame me? Elisa is making me pry my eyes out."
Niall laughed and sat next to his teacher, nodding a little. "Yeah, Elisa seems a bit of a bitch. But I didn't expect you to say that to one of your pupils."
Leeroy laughed with him, nudging his shoulder. "Do you like this song? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I just saw you down there singing your heart out. Do you enjoy singing then?"
Niall swallowed and nodded, looking up at Leeroy's chocolate brown eyes with his own blue orbs with a quick smile. "Kiss Me by Ed Sheeran is one of my favourites. And to answer your question, singing is all I've ever wanted to do. I'm good at it, but just not the dancing part. That is why I came here. I want to improve my dancing skills, you know?"
Leeroy grinned down at the smaller boy with bright white teeth. "Well, I'll assure you I will make it come true, Niall. I promise. Plus..." he winked. "I personally love singing... I play guitar and stuff, too. I like to think I'm okay at it, too."
Niall's grin got impossibly wider, making his eyes crinkle. Oh, wow! Leeroy loved singing, too? And he played guitar like Niall! Could Niall's day get any better? First he met a cute, ultra-hot boy who was bonus-ly gay. Then the cute boy smelt divine that no fragrance could compare to, and then the boy was a singer! It was as if Niall's mental dream boy had just appeared! It bewildered him, mostly because he hadn't always been so astonishingly lucky.
Okay, Niall's Mum gave him everything he wanted. She even gave him things he hadn't wanted, but expensive and cool things. Niall's theory was that she just wanted to give him loads of things to make up for the divorce, but he couldn't be sure. He'd also thought that maybe she'd bought him all of those things to make him popular at school and carried on buying him expensive gadgets since it wasn't really working just yet. But, in all honesty, Niall liked not having bucket-loads of friends. He loved the friends he had now: Liam, Louis, Zayn and Harry. They loved Niall for Niall, not because he was filthy rich and got everything he wanted. If he suddenly gained friends from getting three iPhones and fourteen iPads, they wouldn't be friends. Niall knew better than that to realise they were the fake ones you had to look out for.
"Niall? You awake, mate?" Leeroy asked, smiling at the daydreaming boy beside him.
Niall's head snapped to his left, gazing at Leeroy with oblivious eyes. "What?... Oh, sorry. I daydream a lot. Normally about food. Nandos."
