I'd die tomorrow (day three)

::Jacob's P.O.V::

I looked at Bria, she was sitting a few feet away from me. "You look tired" I said quietly, "I'm not" "you sure?" I asked, she nodded "yeah". "Oh... Okay" she looked up at me and smiled a little "do you want me to lay with you?" She asked, I nodded "yeah".

She got up and grabbed the book she was reading, she laid next to me and I leaned against her. She wrapped her arm around me and opened her book, "I'm going to read to you" she stated, I chuckled "okay, I'm listening".

::Bria's P.O.V::

"Why is it so cold in here?" Rayan asked as he walked into the room, I shrugged lightly. He zipped up his jacket and sat down next to Jazmyne. "You guys look so cute" Shelby said as she pulled out a camera, before I could protest she took the picture of Jacob and I.

She had been taking pictures for the past two days, "let me see" I said quietly. She walked over to me and showed me the photo, I didn't really have an expression on my face in the picture. I smiled a little when I saw Jacob's face, he was cuddled up next to me sleeping.

I looked at Shelby and nodded a little "I like it" I said quietly. I looked at Jacob as he stirred in his sleep, he moved a little before getting comfortable again. "How's he doing?" Jordan asked, I looked at her and shrugged lightly so I wouldn't wake him.

"Not so good, he said he can barely sleep at night anymore.... This is a miracle for him to actually sleep this long" I said as I glanced at Jacob. "This is the last day guys.... And I'm scared".

"Did you find a donor?" Jazmyne asked when the doctor walked into the room, he smiled at us. "Yes, but before you get too excited we don't know if it's a match yet" he explained."We're starting the tests as soon as possible", I wanted to tell Jacob the good news but he was still cuddled up next to me asleep.

"I can't wait to tell him..." I said quietly, "he's going to be so happy" the doctor nodded "I bet he is". "I-I have a question..." Chresanto suddenly stated, "how long do you think he has if he makes it to see tomorrow?" The doctor looked at him, "no telling, anything could happen".

"Bria" Jacob groaned, I ran over to him "yeah?" "I feel sick" he complained. I walked away from him and grabbed the trash can by the door, I walked back over to him and set it down next to him. He looked at me, he looked miserable. "I'll go get the doctor okay?" I asked quietly, he nodded weakly and I left the room.

I walked down the hall until I got to the desk located in the main area of the floor, I looked at the nurse. "Hi, I need the doctor of Jacob Perez please" she nodded and simply called him over the intercon. After a couple of minutes I saw him rush down the hall.

"What's wrong?" He asked me as we began to walk back to Jacob's room. "He said he feels sick, you know as if he's going to throw up" I answered, "did he?" He asked, "was there blood?" I stopped walking and stared at him "blood!? Why would there be blood?" I asked in a nervous tone, "w-what happens if there's blood?"

He didn't answer me instead he began to walk faster to Jacob's room, I scurried after him. I quickly walked into the room and saw Jacob hunched over throwing up into the trash can.

I covered my mouth in surprise as he continued to throw up what he had for lunch. I watched as the doctor walked passed me and stuck his head out the room, "I need nurses stat!" He yelled.

"Nurses!? Nurses for what?" I asked as four nurses ran into the room. The tears stung my eyes when I saw them all surround Jacob. I didn't understand what was going on, I was scared. I could hear Jacob groan again as they checked his IV drip and heart monitor.

I couldn't help but to begin to cry when they rolled him out of the room, I wanted to follow them but someone held me back. I looked behind me and saw Rayan, when did he get here? I thought he was down in the cafeteria with the others. I looked ahead and the last thing I saw were Jacob's scared brown eyes.

"Stop it" Ray said quietly into my ear, I sniffed "I-I can't!" He nodded a little "yeah you can". We were in Jacob's room with the others. Ray was holding me in his arms as he tried to calm me down, I looked up and found Jordan.

She gave me a sad smile "it's okay" she mouthed, I knew she was talking about all the attention I was getting from Rayan. I knew she liked him, I felt guilty knowing he was caring for me instead of Jordan.

Knowing this made me cry harder, "Bria stop crying, he's going to be fine" Ray said as he rocked me back and forth. He gently wiped a few of my tears away, I took a shaky breath and nodded a little bit "okay... B-but what if.... What if he's not?" "He will be". I rested my head on his chest and sighed, I felt empty.

When the nurses brought Jacob back in, I literally launched myself at him. "Are you okay?" I asked, he chuckled weakly "yeah..." "Are you sure?" He gave a slight nod "yeah, I'm just hot". I nodded a little and walked into the hallway, I was able to catch up to the doctor "c-can I have an ice pack?" I asked, he nodded.

Once I got the ice pack and went back to Jacob's room, I quickly wrapped it in a towel and placed it on his forehead. "Thanks" he said quietly, "you're welcome" I looked at him and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

He looked me in the eye for a few seconds, "Bria what would you do if I died today?" he suddenly asked. I tried my best to keep from breaking down and crying my eyes out right then and there. I looked at him and said simply; "I'd die tomorrow".
