"next!" the theater teacher called. i wasn't next, but i was still extremely nervous.

a guy named namjoon was next, and i was after namjoon, so yes i was mentally screaming. maybe this was a bad idea.

i only know namjoon from the school "power couple", him and this other guy named jin.

namjoon stood on the stage facing the audience and the teacher.

"name." mr. o'brien called up to namjoon.

"kim namjoon." he stated firmly.

"okay kim-"

"namjoon." he corrected.

"whatever, just-"

"actually, call me rap monster."

"that's not happening, now can you-"

"i set up a contemporary dance i'd like to call hospitalization." namjoon smiled, showing his dimples. he took a deep breath and looked down. suddenly his head whipped up and his arms were flailing around, causing him to look like a dying octupus. his long sleeves whipped in sync with his arms and his legs jerked off beat with the rest of his body.

it was majestic.

that's what i would say if it were opposite day at least. but i can say that the name for the dance fit it well.

the whole auditorium was silent except for the sound of namjoon's shoes squeaking against the wood. and when he was done, it was still silent.

he bowed his head and walked towards the other side of the stage to exit, accidentally tripping over a wire that just so happened to be connected to a spotlight, causing the spotlight to tip over onto the red curtains that was next to the stage. the curtains were ripped off its hangers and fell onto a big pile on the floor. the spot light was under it, casting a red glow throughout the auditorium.

smoke started coming from the red curtains and then a little ball of orange grew from that smoke.

"fire!" someone yelled, causing the whole auditorium to freak out. the teacher was the first one out of the room. every man for himself i guess.

i ran to the nearest exit out of the auditorium which led to a hallway near the library. then the fire alarms went off making my head pound as i tried to figure out where to go next. i saw the flow of students go to my right, so i followed. the people i was following got me outside safe and soundly. the school watched as the fire marshalls ran into the school to put out the man made disaster.
