"Good Morning everyone, my name is Valentino Von Luca, I'll be your tour guide for today.." The male spoke, he seemed quite young, his hair combed back, curled.
His blazing green eyes seemed to almost lock onto the group of people, forcing a smile upon the crowd to protect the idea of him actually enjoying such a tiresome job. He wore simple clothes, an ironed white shirt, buttoned to the top with a golden name tag pinned to the pocket of his shirt, two pens resting inside the pocket. Blue, biro. Black trousers, keys hanging from his trouser pocket and formal shoes.
Valentino was normally a quiet person, he wasn't a fan of huge parties or a place with a lot of people. Which is why he decided to work at a museum. It was quiet, it had art which he adored and he felt right at home but over the years, the fun of showing people the art he loved became a bore. It became traditional, it didn't feel special.
He didn't have a family in a sense, he was a orphan. Raised in the slums on Italy. When he was 16 he decided to have a fresh start in life. He wanted to make his 'parents' proud. 5 years later and here he was. A person who can hold a job, out of the slums.
His tanned skin reflected from the light, showing his distinctive facial features. "This way everyone!" His voice lingered in the air, the faint Italian accent caught the attention of the other groups of people. A few whispers here and there, women giggling and swooning.
Valentino stepped forward, playing his hands in his pocket and he carried on walking along the marble floor. He looked around at the paintings, explaining each one, looking at the detail of the painting, pointing out features as he smiled upon the crowd listening, his eyes flickered around until they fell onto a female. His eyes widened, his smile faded away until it was just a frown, the intimidating look the female gave him made his heart race. It was almost, terrifying?
Her black hair was tied in a pony tail, it was curled at the bottom, she had piercing eyes like she could shatter glass by just looking at it. The malice in her eyes was confusing too. Why? Why did she single him out? What had he done? He laughed nervously, rubbing the back of his neck and trying to calm himself down. He walked a few steps away and took a deep breath.
"Shit..why.." He whispered, swearing in Italian, clutching his shirt, he looked back at the crowd and the female was gone. Seconds later, sirens blared. The once quiet room was now littered with whispers of confusion, the sound of fabric brushing together in a sense of panic. Valentino stepped back, it clearly wasn't a normal day, he breathed heavily, running his fingers through his black hair. Now what? He couldn't run. The exits were blocked. He couldn't stay, his claustrophobia would get ahold of him.
Gun shots were heard from a distance, the sound of his beating heart seemed to cover the loud whispers as he tried to calm down, the crowd rushed towards him. Asking questions here and there. "C-calm down.." He whispered "What happening?" A women asked "Why are the doors locked?!" Another followed and soon each question over layered the other. Each heart beat grew faster. Each word made him dizzy. What was happening? Was it because of that girl?
