Alex's POV:
"My train leaves soon" Ross sighed
"I don't want you to go" I sighed
"I don't wanna go" he said
"I'll visit as soon as I can" I said
"You better" he smirked
"Of course I will! I wanna see this thing you call Bristol!" I laughed
"I'll Skype you tonight I promise" he said
"You better" I smiled
"I love you Alex Turner" he said, standing up with his bag,
"I love you too Ross Hornby" I smiled, leaning in for a kiss,
He also leaned in, and we had one last kiss. And I missed it as soon as it ended.
"Have a safe journey back" I said
"I will, don't worry, until next time" he said
"See you Ross" I smiled
"Ta-ra Turner" he smirked, making me laugh,
And then he got on his train. And I left. And I missed him already.
I got home and watched hat films videos. And editing a few of mine. I was then scanning through my emails when an important one appeared..
'APPLY FOR UNIVERSITY TODAY'
I admit I needed to apply. I took a gap year after college and I wanted to go to uni anyway.
That's when the idea came. I could go to Bristol university instead of a Manchester university!!
It was perfect. I could get the degree I wanted, and still see Ross like every weekend.
I logged on and decided I would do film and television, like Ross did, and then music also, and history, because I nerdy and actually liked history.
I had to submit a video for the music one, and I would be studying it for 3 years, the film one was just a form, which was also 3 years and history which was 3 years, and that was a form too.
I recorded a video of a 'You and Me' cover, filled in the two forms for the others, and I was done!
If everything went well I would start in September, and probably go into shared accommodation because I'm skint.
Says I'd find out next week, handy, maybe filling in forms 2 days before the deadline is a good thing! Who knows.
And if I got there I guess I'd have to get a part time job, which I'm cool with.
Ahh everything was moving so fast! But I wanted it to happen.
Just then I got a skype call from Ross, I wasn't gonna tell him until like August, when everything was sorted.
"Hey babe!" He said
"Hey! How was the journey home?!" I asked
"It was alright yeah, apart from the screaming kid behind me" he laughed
"Oh god" I said
"I nearly killed him, what you been up to?" he said
"Netflix and the Big Bang theory" I lied
"Jealous much" he laughed
"I need to make food ffs" I sighed, causing Ross to laugh,
"I'm ordering pizza" he smiled
"Oh fuck you" I laughed
"What's on the menu tonight chef?" He said
"Umm..some frozen bacon and cheese loaded potato skins" I laughed
"Oooo, Gordon Ramsey better fucking watch out because Alex Turner might be stealing his career!" He joked
We spoke for hours,
"I've got work tomorrow" I sighed
"Sames" he laughed
"I better go to bed, it's 1am" I laughed
"Yeah..good point" he laughed
"Night babe" I said, my voice sounding so tired
"Night darling, love you" he said
"Love you too" I said, ending the call,
I honestly just then went to fucking bed.
