with gapping holes and unsated
beliefs.
You cannot slip your tainted
soul onto my grounds,
for I am a temple,
hosting ancient civilizations whom worship
my alter and pray,
because there is more
to me than crumbling debris,
sinned colosseums,
empty tombs and bloodied walls,
and this holy temple houses
a devotion to a goddess
which is I."
