{Grant's POV}
Two days and we haven't left the planet. Ugh! Why Poe? I have been getting worried about Jinx. She has been secluding herself from us. I don't know why. I shadow approaches from above.
"Really?" Maleia says looking up.
The First Order. Jinx comes out. She has her hair in a french braid. She exhales loudly and sniffles.
"Are you okay?" I ask her.
"Yes." She says looking down at the floor.
She grabs me and kisses me, "I am sorry."
"For what?" I ask.
{Maleia's POV}
I look at Jinx. She doesn't look right.
Jinx walks over to me," Maleia?"
"Yes?" I reply.
"I-" She begins to say but a door slams open. A gust of wind comes upon us.
Snoke and Kylo slowly walk down the ramp. What are they doing here? A bunch of stormtroopers follow. There stomps all in unison.
Jinx slowly steps forward.
"Jinx?" I hold her arm.
"Maleia, lately I have noticed. This feeling. The urge and want for... power." Jinx confesses.
I gasp,"Your joking."
"Maleia, I want power. I found it satisfying when I almost killed Poe. I want power. Control. Power. I want power."
My grip loosens, "I cannot believe what I'm hearing."
"Maleia, I'm sorry."
"No! Jinx! You are a good person! I will not let you do this!"
"I want power. Maleia."
I look over at Snoke and Kylo.
"This is your doing! You possessed her! You have corrupted her!" I yell and point to Snoke.
"It is my choice Maleia!" Jinx says more stern.
"Jinx!" I say as she keeps walking.
"Jinx! PLEASE!" I scream again.
I look around. Everyone is shocked. I try running to her but Kai and Grant hold me back,"Let go of me you idiots!" I cry.
Jinx is standing right next to Kylo, "You both would be even stronger, but a youngling with no training is good. She has a strong force."
"JINX!!! DON'T DO THIS!!! PLEASE!! YOU ARE A GOOD PERSON!!!" I beg.
"I am sorry Maleia! I want power! I want to get revenge on my dad for leaving me!" Jinx cries over the wind. Pieces of her hair flow across her face. Her, Kylo, and everyone turn and start walking. I manage to get out of Kai's and Grant's grip and I start running after Jinx.
I almost get to her, "PLEASE! JINX! BEN!" The doors close.
I fall on my knees and cry. Why!?!? Tears pour down my face. I slam my fists on the ground. The ships ascends. I latch on to the ship trying to make it come back down but I fail, "JINX!! NOOOOOOOO!" My horsey throat echoes in the air.
Kai and Grant stand there.
"I thought you were the one." Grant whispers.
"NO!" I screech looking up at the sky.
"Jinx!" I barely can yell. I cry on the dirt ground not caring if little critters climb up my sleeve.
{Jinx's POV}
I hear Maleia's 'NO' still echo. A tear rolls down my face.
"Kylo you are no longer my apprentice. You have learnt everything." Snoke says.
Snoke then heads over to me, "You will pledge yourself to me."
I kneel down before him, "I pledge myself in your service, I will do whatever I must. I will do whatever you command me. My- Master." I bow down.
"Good." He says lifting my chin.
"I feel no more conflict within you. You have chosen a side." Snoke hands me a lightsaber.
I take it and open it.
"I am ready to begin my training, Master." I examine my lightsaber.
It's orange, and double-sided.
