{Kai's POV}
I have been waiting for 3 days because out of everyone they chose me to tell Maleia the news. Jinx is too shocked and wants to be the one to comfort her not tell her breaking news. Grant just doesn't want to get on Maleia's bad side and everyone else well, they don't want to get on her bad side either.
I see Maleia's finger wiggle. Once Jinx injected Maleia with a sleeping syringe we laid her down on a bed in the falcon. I look over at Han who is standing a few feet away.
"See you in hell." I say.
He chuckles.
Maleia's eyes flutter half open.
"Kai?" She says weakly.
"Hey." I bend down to her.
"Where is Jinx?" She asks.
I look behind me too see Jinx in her mothers arms looking at Maleia. She is crying. Jinx is really scared for Maleia.
"Jinx is here and she is ok." I comfort.
"Where is my mom?" Maleia lifts her head.
"Your, mom... well she is." I start to say.
"She's dead." Maleia finishes.
She lays her head back down.
"There is something I need to tell you." I begin.
"What?"
{Leia's POV}
I stand behind Han. He turns around.
"Leia please listen to me." Han says.
"My main concern is Maleia right now. I do not need you say anything." I say looking at Kai and Maleia.
I see Maleia start getting mad. Kai is trying to calm her down but it's not working.
"Jinx!" Jinx's mother calls out.
"Let me go. Kai shouldn't have been the one to tell her! YOU GUYS SHOULD'VE!" Jinx yells at Han and I.
{Jinx's POV}
I run inside and hug Maleia. She cries in my shoulder.
"Leave Kai." I say.
He nods.
"Maleia listen to me." I say.
"Is it true? Tell me it isn't." Maleia cries.
"Maleia, you need to calm down. Everything is gonna be alright." I pat her back.
"Tell me. Is it true?" Maleia looks into my eyes. I can't lie to my best friend.
"It is isn't it." She guesses.
She looks at Han and Leia.
"No! I want to go back to Earth. I want to go home like nothing ever happened." Maleia begs.
"Maleia, we can't." I say.
"Why?" She starts crying.
