 We then went backstage to go on, cathy's group was on just before us, i dont usually watch the competition as it usually makes me more nervous but i couldn't help it, their number was good, apart from in a leap sequence they do, 2 people were out of time. kevin kissed my cheeck and the announcer called out our number and we walked on stage, i could here all of the moms cheering for us, that always boosts my confindence. We done the number, it went perfect apart from i seen maddie go off stage after a leap sequence, she must of forgot the dance, but hopefully nobody noticed as the leap sequence went towards the curtain, kevin came running up to me and i jumped onto him and gave him a big hug, we all had a big group hug and walked back to our dressing room, maddie wasn't with us, she ran off when we came off stage, i know miss abbeys going to be bad but i don't care, it went amazing! We walked into tthe dressing room, the moms and abbey weren't here yet, kevin sat down next to me and put his arm around me, maddie was sat in the corner crying, nobody went over because everyone was still mad at her but, if miss abbey walks in and your comforting someone when they've done something wrong, she then gets mad at you, the moms walked in "well dont guys!" my mom shouted followed by cristi "you all did amazing!!" melissa ran straight over to maddie, i feel sorry for kenzie, she's just danced amazingly and melissa doesn't even say anything to her. My mom gave paige a hug before coming over to me "well done brookie!" she said hugging me "you to kevin!" kevin smiled "thanks kelly!" miss abbey then walked in "well done!come here!" she said with her arms wide open, we all ran to her and gave her a hug, apart from maddie. "brooke well done you led the group perfectly!start getting ready for you solo, you to chloe!" miss abbey said, i sat back down next to kevin and my mom began to do my hair, miss abbey then yelled to maddie "YOU!How?you had one number and you forgot it?!come on!" melissa then argued back at abbey, it turned into a big argument, kevin said to my mom "kelly, should we get all the younger ones out?" "yes kevin, good idea, take them outside" we took everyone outside our dressing room, kevin stepped forward and seen cathy heading our way, he told me and i ran to the door of the dressing room, peeped my head around the door and shouted my mom, i told her and she said to get everyone inside quick, we walked back into the dressing room "abbey!cathy's coming our way!" my mom shouted, abbey suddenly stopped screaming at melissa and sat down. Cathy walked in with her nose up in the air "oh look what the wind blew in"my mom said as she rolled her eyes, "what do you want?" miss abbey asked "just to say that i hope you enjoy coming 2nd" cathy said. "Are you serious? 2 of your girls were a beat behind for the whole dance and you have the nerve to come in here and say that to us?" my mom stood up and yelled as she walked over to cathy, cristi ran behind her, "oh yeah? well atleast any of our girls aren't sloppy, fat, short and un interested like your daughter!" antony (cathy's chereographer) yelled in my mom's face. i broke into tears, ive always been selfconsious about my weight. Miss abbey stood up and walked over to my mom and cristi who were screaming at antony for what he just said, abbey even joined in, kevin grabbed me and pulled me into his chest as he hugged me "cathy how dare you, it's her birthday, brooke is not sloppy, she is not fat, she's alot more talented then any of the people in your dance so you know" kevin began to yell before nick and josh came running to him "calm down kevin!" the shouted at him pulling him away from antony. Chloe and Paige were hugging me and trying to comfort me, "NO!" kevin shouted as he pushed nick and josh off of him and ran over to antony, i was crying now both because of what he said and i didn't want kevin to get hurt. Holly came over to me and tried to comfort me, everyone else was screaming at antony. "who do you think you are saying that about brooke?!" kevin yelled at antony "what you gonna do hu?" antony sreamed back "you don't even wanna know!" kevin yelled trying to push antony but nick and josh pulled him back, Antony then punched kevin in the face, i screamed, holly pulled me into her arms, my mom and cristi began to yell even more at Antony for hitting kevin, security came running in and took out anytony, cathy followed him, i ran to kevin "kevin are you alright?!" i asked hugging him "yeah i'm fine, im more worried about my brookie, are you okay?" "i am now" i said still hugging him,kevin kissed me on the forehead "come on, lets sit down" i said to kevin, i sat down and kevin put his arm around me, miss abbey came over "are you both okay?" she asked, we nodded "kelly's gone to get you some ice kevin, she'll be back in a, oh wait here she is" my mom came running in with an ice pack, she came over and placed it on kevin "Are you guys okay?" my mom asked, we both again nodded "hey brooke, can i talk to you a minute?" miss abbey asked, i looked at my mom and she hinted me to go, "yeah whats up miss abbey?" i asked "step outside with me a second brooke" "okay" we went outside the dressing room, miss abbey shut the door and said to me "brooke you're not going to let what the horrible man said to you affect you are you?" "i don't know, i don't think i can do my solo miss abbey, i don't want to let you down but, i just don't think i can" "brooke, you can't let him affect you, your meant to dance, you have to go out there and show that he hasnt put you down, that'll make him think he's won" "okay, i'll do the solo miss abbey" "thats my girl" miss abbey said giving me a hug, we walked back into the dressing room and i walked back over to kevin and my mom "what was that about?" my mom asked, i explained it to her "are you sure?" "yeah mom i'll be fine, can you do my hair please?" "sure" i held kevins hand and my mom done my hair for me, i ran my number with abbey a few times and then chloe han her solo with her. Chloe was on two before me, it went her, jessica the girl from candy apples im against and then its me. It was time for me and chloe to go back stage, josh and kevin came with us and everyone else went to watch. Kevin had his arms around me and chloe and josh were holding hands. It was time for chloe to go on "good luck chloe!" i said giving her a big hug, josh gave her a kiss and chloe went on stage, her facial expressions were amazing, all her turns were perfect, she done so well! she ran off stage and josh gave her a massive hug "well done chloe!" i said to her, she smiled, the girl i was against, sarah from the candy apples then went ontsage, i watched her from the side, kevin came up behind me and put his arms around me "you nervous?" he asked, i nodded, "well dont me okay, you go out there and you show  them what your made of!! okay?" i smiled, kevin kissed my cheeck "love you kev kev" "i love you to brookie now go out there and do what you do best" i smiled and walked towards the steps, chloe and josh hugged me "good luck!" they both said and i went out onto the stage, i heared kevin cheering for me, my number went amazingly! all of my tricks went well, my leaps and my turns! i even added the facial expressions like miss abbey said, as soon as i got off stage i jumped into kevins arms wrapping my legs around his waist "well done brooke! im so proud of you!" kevin said, i kissed him and he slowly let me down, chloe hugged me "well done brooke! you were amazing!" "thanks chlobird!so were you!" josh turned to me "didn't think i'd say this sis but, your a really good dancer" i laughed "thanks josh" i replied and we all walked back to the dressing room.
