"Okay, one, how the freak do you know my name?!? And two, why are you even here?" I said as I rolled my eyes. "You really think you can fool me? Those glasses don't make you look that much different Maria. And isn't it obvious? I'm clearly here to graduate, be rich, and end up living on the moon with a million puppies! What else?!?" He said with a smirk on his face.
"Right, look, what do you want? I don't have time for this." Lie. I said while rolling my eyes again for like the billionth time today. "Well you of course!" He said while winking at me. "I mean, to lose, or drop out, it's your call." I looked at him astonished. "Oh, did you think I was gonna say something different? Please. Don't flatter yourself so hard." He said while smirking that annoying smirk of his.
"Hang on, you've got it twisted, I wouldn't drop out to save my mom's life. So let me think, hmmm... how about option, neither!!" I looked over at him and leaned in a tad closer. "You're going down, and please don't flatter yourself so hard next time, I wouldn't think of you as anything more than another racer boy trying to catch his luck." Right as I said that, the bell rang. I looked at him, winked, got up, and walked to my next class.
"Hey!" Ignore him Maria. "Hey!" Ignore him Ma-. I suddenly felt a tug on my arm and was spun around to face plant a rock hard chest. Dang, they couldn't have been just a bit nicer about it?
I looked up and gazed into a pair of chocolate brown eyes. How can someone so annoying, have such gorgeous eyes. "What?" I said while taking a step back. "Geesh, what am I too annoying for you?" I looked at him with wide eyes. Did I say that out loud? "Ugh yeah you did." He said while giving me his signature smirk. "What?!?" I said looking confused? "You keep saying your thoughts Maria." He said while grinning. He was actually, grinning and not smirking. It was nothing short of astonishing.
"I-I do? I mean, I am, I mean, What?!? " I said bewildered. "Ugh yeah, I just said that, and look who's getting all frazzled over nothing." He said while ruffling my hair.
