Asher's POV

Tristan: "Hey did Cara spend the night?"

Asher: "Yeah she's in the bathroom."

Tristan: "So did you tell her?"

Asher: "Shh no," I whisper, covering Tristan's mouth.

Tristan: "You know she's gonna be pissed that you didn't tell her."

Cara: "Tell me what?" she says walking out of the bathroom.

Asher: "What? Nothing," I turn around shocked.

Cara: "Tristan tell me."

Asher: "Don't you dare T."

It was silent for a moment, then Cara walked over to Tristan, ran her fingers through his hair, and kissed his cheek.

Cara: "Now will you tell me?"

Both of us were too stunned to say anything, and then..

Tristan: "Asher's been dating Katie De-," he tries to quickly say, but I cover his mouth before he could finish.

Cara: "What?? You're dating someone and you didn't tell me?!"

Asher: "Look it's not that big of a deal, we've only been dating for a little over a month.

Cara: "You've been dating Katie Denver and you didn't tell me? Why?"

Asher: "Because I know you guys aren't big fans of each other anymore. I didn't want you to be mad at me for dating her."

Cara: "Asher, I'm not mad because you're dating her. It's your life, you can date whoever the hell you want. I'm mad at you because you hid this from me. We don't hide things from each other Asher."

Asher: "Look Car, I'm really, really sorry, and I promise I won't keep anything from you anymore."

Cara: "It's fine, let's just go," she says walking out of my room.

Tristan: "That was amazing," he says, wide eyed.

Asher: "Geeet ouut," I say pushing him out of my room.

~~~~~~~~After School~~~~~~~~
Asher: "I really think you should go to that party Cara," I suggest, standing at her doorstep with her.
Cara: "I'm fine, thanks. It's not really my type of crowd."
Asher: "Come on, it'll be fun," I nudge her.
Cara: "I don't think being in a crowded house full of smoke and sex is fun, but that's just my opinion."
Asher: "Look I don't either, but-"
Cara: "Katie really wants to go. I get it. It's fine, have fun, just don't do anything you'll regret."
Asher: "I won't."
Cara: "Well you better get going, party starts soon."
Asher: "Alright. Love you," I give her a hug.
Cara: "Love you too."
Cara's POV
          Katie is not right for him. At. All. She doesn't have a mind of her own. All she cares about is how she looks and popularity. She's a total tease that acts like a slut. All of her past boyfriends have treated her a lot better than she treated them. She takes advantage of everyone's kindness, and yet people still like her. I even kind of like her still, but I know I shouldn't.
          I look out my window and see her and Asher making out on his porch and almost throw up in my mouth. They stop and walk to her car and she's wearing a mini skirt. Like a reeeeaallyy tiny black mini skirt, with a black, long sleeved, ridiculously low cut to the point you could see her hot pink bra, crop top, with black stiletto heals. I was disgusted. It actually made me angry to see them together because he can do so much better.
          After they leave, I see another car pull up to Asher's house. The car honks a few times and then I see Tristan come out of his house and into the car. There was no way his dad would ever let him go and he was at work, so I threw on some decent clothes, because I was in my pajamas, put some makeup on, and borrowed my mom's car to drive after him.
          I get to the party and it was packed. This house was huge and there were still people everywhere. I checked downstairs and couldn't find him, so I went upstairs to look. I open the door to what I thought was a bathroom and I find Asher shirtless, making out hardcore on the bed with Katie who only had her bra and skirt on, and on the nightstand were a few condoms.
Cara: "Oh my god!" I block my eyes and turn my head.
Asher: "Cara?! Wait!" he exclaims as I quickly leave the room.
          I honestly can not believe Asher. This is so not like him. I feel confused and frustrated. My eyes start to water and all I want to do is get out of this house, but I still have to find Tristan, so I check downstairs one more time. I finally find Tristan leaning against a wall, surrounded by a group of kids, smoking a cigarette, with a red solo cup in his hand. I walk up to him.
Cara: "Tristan, come on it's time to go," I say trying not to cry.
Tristan: "Cara what are you doing here? Are you crying? What happened?" he asks concerned.
Cara: "Nothing, I'm fine," I wipe my face, "what's in that cup?" I grab at it and he pulls it away.
Tristan: "Ginger ale."
Cara: "Yeah, okay, ginger ale my ass, and don't think I don't notice that cigarette," I say taking his drink and tasting it, "Yup it's beer," I verify, pouring the rest into a plant behind him.
Tristan: "Cara, come on be cool."
Cara: "This is cool. I could and probably should be a lot worse right now."
Tristan: "Can we talk about this later?"
Cara: "Yeah we can talk about it at home, which is where we're going," I grab his arm and pull him outside.
Tristan: "Would you quit pulling me please," he pulls away a takes another puff of his cigarette.
Cara: "Where have you smoked before?" I ask, taking his cigarette and throwing it on the ground.
Tristan: "Cara, calm down. I've just smoked a couple times with my friends."
Cara: "Well don't!" I turn around and shout with tears running down my face.
Tristan: "Woah, woah, woah, Cara what happened?" He asks, running up to me, grabbing my arms.
Cara: "Nothing, I just want to go home," I say, wiping tears from my face.
Tristan: "Okay, then let's go home," he says, putting his arm around me as we walk to my car. "Give me the keys, I'll drive."
Cara: "You're 14."
Tristan: "I can drive, trust me," he says, implying he's also driven a car before too.
Cara: "Fine, just don't tell your dad," I toss him the keys and get in the car.
