Chapter 15;
I woke up to the sounds of soft snoring that, initially, scared the crap out of me, but then I remembered that Keaton was in my-- our-- bed.
I rolled over as slowly as I could, trying not to jostle him, but I wanted to catch a glimpse of his face while he was sleeping. He looked so innocent and just downright cute.
Although I hardly ever accepted them, I definitely had feelings for Keaton. Without a doubt in my mind, and as I laid watching him sleep, the feelings got even harder to deny.
I kissed his cheek before sliding back into my initial position, contently.
"Hi Jules," he grumbled, tossing an arm around my midsection.
"Hi Keaton." I replied, turning to face him once again.
"What time is it?" He grumbled, and I shrugged.
"I have no idea." I replied, giggling softly.
"Mmm." He responded lazily, wrapping his arms around my waist and nuzzling his nose into my hair. I just smiled, allowing him to do so.
"Jules?" He yawned, and I looked at him.
"Yeah?"
"Do you want to go on a date with me tonight?" He replied, pulling away from my neck to shoot me a nervous smile.
"Sure." I licked my lips, a small smile finding its way onto my lips.
"I promise it won't be anything too over the top or-- wait, really?" Keaton grinned at me, and I nodded.
"Yeah. I'll go on a date with you." I kissed Keaton's cheek before standing up and walking to my bathroom.
If I was actually going to go on a date with Keaton, I had to ready myself, and make myself presentable, so I decided to shower.
I did that as quickly as I could, getting out and brushing out my hair. I put makeup on as quickly as I could and rushed downstairs, my hair still a drying mess.
"Hey Julie!" Wes greeted me cheerfully, a huge grin on his face.
"What happened to you?" I raised an eyebrow, and he just shook his head.
"Today's a great day to be alive, eh?" Wes smiled brightly, and I just smiled back.
"Yeah." I answered, taking a glass out of the cupboard and filling it with water.
"You going out with Keaton tonight?" Wes asked, his mouth filled with the apple he had shoved a bite of down his throat.
"Yeah, he asked me to." I chugged the water as I replied, taking a seat at the counter.
"Good. You guys need to get back together already, it's driving me insane." Wes rolled his eyes, and I laughed.
